Spotted this last week in my neighborhood. I thought it was a regular Crown Victoria at first-but the hubcaps said this was at one point a police car, meaning it has the Street Appearance Package, and was likely a detective/undercover vehicle. This is a 2008, meaning the P7x codes have two numbers (in the case of this car, P71) as opposed to two letters on Crown Victorias made from 2010 to 2011 (North America)/2012 (Middle East, due to a short run of export-only 2012 models being made). I know that I see a City of Bowling Green Police Crown Victoria in use as a K-9 cruiser occasionally, while I see an unmarked sheriff’s Crown Victoria cruiser occasionally, and I also see WKU (Western Kentucky University) Police using low-mile P71s. It has been a while since I’ve seen a non-P71/P7B Crown Victoria.
