The company said the Roadster X portfolio will now be available in three battery configurations—2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh—priced at ₹79,999, ₹92,999, and ₹99,999, respectively.Ola Electric on Tuesday announced a price reduction for its Roadster electric motorcycle range as part of its Holi Mahotsav campaign, bringing the starting price down to ₹79,999, a move aimed at positioning electric motorcycles on par with entry-level internal combustion engine (ICE) bikes.
The company said the Roadster X portfolio will now be available in three battery configurations—2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, and 4.5 kWh—priced at ₹79,999, ₹92,999, and ₹99,999, respectively. The higher-spec Roadster X+ will be offered in 4.5 kWh and 9.1 kWh variants, priced at ₹1,09,999 and ₹1,89,000, respectively.
The announcement coincides with the Holi festival and is part of a broader promotional campaign to encourage the adoption of electric motorcycles in the country.
An Ola Electric spokesperson said the revised pricing marks a turning point for electric mobility in the motorcycle segment.
“With the Roadster starting at ₹79,999 this Holi, electric motorcycles are no longer a premium alternative, they are the smart default. This pricing puts electric on equal footing with petrol, and from here, the shift only accelerates,” the spokesperson said.
As part of the campaign, the company has introduced a limited-period promotional event called Muhurat Mahotsav. During designated 90-minute “shubh muhurat” windows over two days, customers will be able to access a limited number of vehicles at special festive prices, to be revealed during the live sales window.
In addition, buyers can avail an eight-year extended warranty on select scooter models, including the S1 Pro (3 kWh and 4 kWh) and S1 Pro+ (4 kWh), during the promotional period.
The company also highlighted benefits for members of its recently launched Ola Insiders programme, an exclusive community initiative for its customer base of more than 1 million users across India.
Customers upgrading from earlier-generation scooters can receive benefits of up to ₹50,000 on the latest Generation 3 S1 scooter portfolio and the Roadster motorcycles. Existing users purchasing an additional Ola vehicle under the same registered name can unlock benefits of up to ₹20,000, including cashback and software upgrades through the MoveOS platform.
The referral programme allows customers to earn up to ₹5,000 in Ola credits after a successful delivery, while the referred buyer receives a cashback of ₹1,000.
