The last third-generation Camaro built at GM’s Van Nuys factory had about 2000 signatures on it of the employees who worked there at the time. The car still exists today, and only has about 125 miles on the odometer.

Some of the signatures were in inaccessible spots or on parts where they could be damaged from vehicle use. For instance, people signed the floorboards, but this was before the carpet and sound deadening were applied. People also signed the catalytic converters, so don't get those too hot.
