Peugeot Tutorials | 308 and 308 SW Domestic Charging
Getting your #Peugeot308 and #Peugeot308SW ready for the next journey starts right at home. This #PeugeotTutorial walks you through charging with domestic socket.
Begin by placing the selector in P and switching off the engine. Connect the charge cable to your domestic socket; all lights on the control box will briefly illuminate before the green Power light remains. Open the charging flap, check the connector is clear and insert the charging pistol. Flashing green lights on the flap and the control box confirm that charging has started. A steady red light indicates a fault and the process must be restarted.
While charging, your digital cluster temporarily displays battery level, remaining range, estimated charge time – and for electric versions charging speed – before entering sleep mode. Deferred charging can be set via the Energy app on the touchscreen by selecting Charge Settings and choosing your preferred start time. Activate it by locking the car and pressing the button within one minute, confirmed by a blue light in the flap. The same settings can also be controlled through the #MyPeugeot app.
When charging is complete, the green flashing lights turn steady. To unplug, unlock your #Peugeot (or lock then unlock). Avoid using extension cables, power strips, adaptors or damaged sockets.
