A 41-year-old man was rushed to an emergency room in serious condition early today after his e-bicycle collided with a vehicle in the heart of Waikiki.
The crash occurred around 4:50 a.m. at the intersection of Kalakaua Avenue and Lewers Street. According to Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.
EMS personnel treated the rider at the scene for a traumatic leg injury. He was subsequently transported to a trauma center for further treatment.
