Instead of visiting a dealership or manually transferring files, your vehicle can download new Peugeot i‑Connect features in the background — ensuring your infotainment system stays modern, intuitive, and ready for every journey.
When an update becomes available, the car automatically retrieves it using its cellular connection. At the end of your drive, a message appears on the central screen inviting you to install it. You can choose “Install now” or tap “Remind me later” if you prefer to postpone. Before installation begins, the screen clearly shows how long the process will take and when the update expires — so you always know what to expect.
Once installation starts, your car will remain immobilised and the display may switch off several times. A progress bar allows you to follow the update until completion. After all indicator lights turn off, the vehicle can be restarted and is fully up‑to‑date. If an installation fails, a notification appears on the screen, and you can arrange support through the #MyPeugeot app. Over The Air updating makes maintaining your system simple, seamless, and completely integrated into your everyday driving.
