Donut Lab's claims are bold, but a new episode of the german "Geladen" podcast just offered a theory that could actually fit the physics.

Expert Dr. Joachim Sann suggests that they could be using organic Quinone cathodes screen printed by CT-Coating AG in Germany.

This could explain everything:
* The Shape: You can screen print a battery layer-by-layer into a donut (or any shape).
* The Density: Quinones are super light, and printing "bipolar stacks" removes the heavy metal foils used in normal EVs.

So maybe it's not vaporware physics… it's just a massive manufacturing gamble to scale it.
