DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – The City of Decatur announced Thursday that new level III electric vehicle chargers are now open and live at various spots in the community.
There are two level III chargers each at the Decatur Civic Center, Nelson Park and the Decatur Public Library.
Level III chargers can fully charge an EV in about 45 minutes and residents can pay with a card or through the Chargepoint app
According to the City, four level II chargers at Fairview Park will be live within the next few weeks.
