Below, we’ve ranked the new luxury electric vehicles (EVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and gas-electric hybrids in terms of overall satisfaction, based on Consumer Reports’ latest survey. We also noted whether those top scorers excelled in any of these subcategories: styling, driving experience, comfort, in-car electronics ease of use, and ownership cost. In the event of a tie, two or three models are listed.
Not every category will include the least satisfying model, either because the category has too few eligible vehicles or because none of the eligible vehicles have a rating below average. Also see our list of the most satisfying mainstream models.
