The automaker unveiled interior components at an event in San Francisco, with the name meaning ‘light’ in Italian
Ferrari has revealed the interior design of its new full-electric sports car and announced it will be called the Ferrari Luce. The automaker unveiled the interior and interface components at an event in San Francisco on 9 February, with the name meaning ‘light’ or ‘illumination’ in Italian.

The Ferrari Luce represents Ferrari’s entry into full-electric sports cars and what the company describes as a significant addition to its vehicle line-up. The automaker has collaborated with LoveFrom, a creative collective founded by Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson in San Francisco, on every dimension of the car’s design over a five-year period.
The interior features precision-engineered mechanical buttons, dials, toggles and switches combined with multifunctional digital displays. Ferrari and LoveFrom developed hardware and software together, with major interior components including the binnacle, control panel and central console designed as self-contained elements organised around controls and displays.

Materials include 100 per cent recycled aluminium alloy machined from solid billets using three-axis or five-axis CNC technology and subjected to an anodisation process. The displays use precision-milled Corning Gorilla Glass, which Ferrari says is durable and scratch-resistant with high visibility.
LoveFrom worked with the Ferrari Styling Centre, led by Flavio Manzoni, to develop the concept while meeting Ferrari’s functional targets and homologation requirements for a production road sports car. Ferrari unveiled the technology underpinning the car in October 2025 at its e-building in Maranello, with the exterior reveal scheduled for May 2026 in Italy.
