As the sole model in the entire fleet, Chrysler has put all of their energy into the Pacifica; Chrysler’s 7-passenger Minivan. For 2026, this plan is still in effect after their rabbit-hole idea of going all electric, which seems to be stuck in its tracks with the EV tax credit being eliminated in late September. But for our week-long tester, it’s all the Minivan fun we can enjoy as the 2026 Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV boasts tons of storage space and comfort for people moving.
Powered by a 3.6L V6 Plug-in Hybrid engine providing 32 miles on pure electric charge, the Pacifica Pinnacle was top of the class scale. With over 520 miles of total range, the Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV. Our tester was wrapped in Red Hot Pearl which certainly stood out in the crowd. On the interior, we recognize a great infotainment system with the UConnect5 which has Navigation and a 10.1-inch touch screen display. With easy-slide 2nd-row bucket seats, the Pacifica delivers for passengers. Riding on 18-inch wheels, the Pacifica Pinnacle delivers style, class and comfort as the seats were what set it apart from the rest. Did I mention all of the technology the Pacifica has to offer is standard equipment? Apple CarPlay, Google Android Auto, UConnect Theatre, Amazon Fire TV Built-in, FamCam Interior Camera and WiFi- Hot Spot. Safety features are top-notch in the Pacifica including ParkSense Front and Rear Park-Assist, 360 surround-view camera system, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane-Departure Warning and Pedestrian Emergency Braking. These items show the consumer that FCA, parent company of Chrysler, is committed to delivering excellence in every avenue of the car enjoyment experience.
As a Minivan fan, the Pacifica Hybrid was very nice for everyday usage. Its storage, utilization capabilities and comfort was superb. Adding a PHEV and 30+ miles of pure electric charge, riding around town, going to work or even the baseball field for an afternoon practice with the kids, the Chrysler Pacifica Pinnacle PHEV is the way to ride.
