A lightweight electric sports car inspired by classic rally legends is officially coming to Europe, and it is nothing like the EVs you are used to. The SC01 blends serious performance, low weight, and a driver first interior in a way most modern cars have forgotten.
The SC01 is a compact electric coupe powered by dual motors producing 429 horsepower and 413 pound feet of torque, with a claimed 0 to 62 miles per hour time of just 2.9 seconds. Unlike most electric cars, its battery is mounted behind the passenger compartment to maintain balanced weight distribution. With a curb weight of only 3,009 pounds, a tubular space frame, aluminum body, and pushrod suspension, the SC01 focuses on handling and feel rather than flashy tech. Inside, the minimalist cabin features physical controls, a traditional handbrake, and no oversized infotainment screen. Only 1,000 units will be sold in Europe, making this electric sports car one of the most intriguing limited production vehicles on the horizon.
