The first generation Dodge Charger (66-67) was a car design that was very attractive to me. One of the features on it was rear lights that spanned (almost) the entire width of the back of the car. Full-width tail lights were extremely unusual in that era, say before 1980. As I recall there was only one other American car that had them, but I can’t seem to remember what the other car was, gorammit! Anybody out there know of any other American cars pre 1980 that had them? I’d appreciate any replies, especially if it turns out there were MORE than 2 cars that had that feature!
Now (since about 1990) there are many cars with full-width rear lights.
More nostalgia: man, I miss vent windows on cars! My mom’s 51 Plymouth had them on ALL 4 doors!
