Bymoss Bike is currently the only company offering a road-legal electric retrofit system for BMW R Series motorcycles, from the R45 to the R80, while retaining the original gearbox. This unique solution is officially homologated for road use in France, Switzerland, and Monaco, marking a first in France and paving the way for future European-wide approval. The project is the result of close collaboration with Luuc Muis – LM Creations.

Bymoss Bike is also the only retrofit specialist in France and Europe to preserve the original BMW gearbox, a defining element of the Airhead riding experience.

A respectful and authentic approach
Bymoss Bike’s philosophy is to replace the internal combustion engine with an electric motor without compromising the soul of the motorcycle. Each conversion preserves:
The original BMW gearbox, a key part of the riding feel
The historic design and proportions of the BMW R Series
A premium, handcrafted finish, executed with meticulous attention to detail
The result is a motorcycle that feels authentic, balanced, and unmistakably BMW, now reimagined for a cleaner future.

Current offers
Bymoss Bike currently offers two distinct solutions:
