Anker has officially introduced a modular whole-home backup power system that could give Tesla a run for its money.
The SOLIX E10 is built as a scalable energy platform that combines battery storage, solar connectivity, and optional generator support to deliver flexible backup power for everything from essential circuits to full household loads.
Anker claims that the SOLIX E10 is built around a hybrid design that combines battery storage, solar input, and optional generator support to deliver “infinite backup” power with flexible configuration options.
The base SOLIX E10 configuration includes one inverter paired with a modular 6kWh battery, and users can expand the system by adding optional components such as the Power Dock, which enables automatic backup across up to 200 amps and 12 circuits.
Rather than relying on a single fixed configuration, the E10 is designed to scale with household needs, allowing homeowners to start with a smaller system and expand capacity over time.

The system supports rooftop solar and third-party solar installations, enabling homes to recharge the batteries during daylight hours and reduce reliance on the grid during extended outages.
Anker positions the SOLIX E10 as a solution for both short-term blackouts and longer power disruptions, with enough output to run heavy appliances when properly configured.
The modular design also allows the system to be paired with optional smart switching hardware, enabling either manual or automatic transition to backup power when the grid goes down.
Anker says the system is designed for residential installation, with weather-resistant enclosures suitable for garage or outdoor placement depending on local requirements.
The SOLIX E10 is compatible with Anker’s wider SOLIX ecosystem, allowing users to monitor power usage, battery status, and energy flow through the companion app.
According to Anker, the system is intended to compete with other whole-home battery solutions by offering greater flexibility rather than a single all-in-one unit.

Pricing for the SOLIX E10 starts at $4,299 for the base configuration, with higher prices depending on battery capacity and optional components.
Adding the Power Dock increases the system price to around $5,799, while bundles that include the Power Dock and Anker’s Smart Generator 5500 reach up to $7,399.
Anker has confirmed that pre-orders open on January 12, 2026, with full availability and installation scheduling expected to follow shortly after.
