Honda has a new idea to help its upcoming lineup of electric and hybrid vehicles stand out. The iconic H Mark will look a little different as part of Honda’s efforts to “create new EVs from zero.” Here’s what to expect.
Honda has a new H Mark for its next-gen EVs and hybrids
The H Mark design has been a part of Honda’s legacy since 1963, shortly after it launched its first automobile, the T360 k-truck.
As it prepares for an entirely new generation of electric and hybrid vehicles, Honda is adopting a new symbol design.
Although the H Mark has received several updates over the years, Honda created the latest design “in conjunction with the development of next-generation EVs,” including the upcoming 0 Series.

Unlike Honda’s current models, which either share the same platform as ICE vehicles or are based on GM’s Ultium platform like the Prologue, the 0 Series will be based on a dedicated EV platform and operating system (OS). The first vehicle based on the platform will be the 2027 Acura RSX, set to launch later this year.

After that, Honda will introduce a new flagship EV sedan and SUV in 2026, based on the Honda 0 Series Saloon and SUV prototypes.
After unveiling the new H Mark on Tuesday, Honda said the goal of the 0 Series models is to “create new EVs from ‘zero’ by going back to the starting point of Honda as an automaker.”

The new design looks like two outstretched hands, representing Honda’s commitment to augment the possibilities of mobility as it prepares for a new, electrified era.
Honda’s new logo will debut on its upcoming dedicated EVs and hybrids, starting in 2027. Later this year, Honda will begin production of the 0 Series models at its EV Hub in Ohio.
While Honda prepares for an all-new lineup, its current electric SUV is on sale with leases starting under $300 a month and 0% APR financing. If you’re interested in a test drive, use this link to find available Honda Prologue models near you.
