Home charging
– Fast, efficient charging from a Ford partner-installed home charging socket. Domestic socket charging is also available for occasional use.
Public charging
– Discover how to use the BlueOval™ Charge Network x Octopus Electroverse for access to over 1 million chargers across 36 countries, including high-speed IONITY charging.
* An optional domestic socket compatible charging cable is required to enable this functionality on all Ford EVs. Always ensure that socket suitability is checked by a qualified electrician.
** Charging time is based on test data from a Ford Explorer Premium AWD Extended Range model using a 200 kW DC ultra fast charger, conducted in a controlled environment at 23°C. It is important to note, however, that actual charging times can vary due to a range of factors. These include the vehicle’s battery capacity, the type of charging station used, current weather conditions, ambient temperature, driving behaviour and profile, the condition of the vehicle, including the age and condition of the battery, and the presence of any vehicle accessories. This information is provided to help gauge approximate charging times, but actual times may differ based on these factors.
*** To find charging stations, Connected Navigation must be activated. For Explorer, Capri and Mustang Mach-E this is included as a complimentary feature. For Puma Gen-E, it is included as a complimentary feature for 1 year; additional charges and subscription may be required after 1 year. Modem Activation required for all vehicles. Connected Services and features depend on compatible Vodafone network availability. Evolving technology/cellular networks/vehicle capability may limit functionality and prevent operation of connected features.
