This woman from New York purchased her very own Tesla and stumbled upon a handy feature when attempting to heat up her car.
It’s no secret that EVs offer better environmental impact, and thanks to the cars producing no emissions, lots of functions can be carried out in confined spaces.
However, it seems that in winter, this is especially useful when temperatures drop below zero.
From Sentry Mode to Self-Driving, Tesla’s extensive fleet of cars offers perks that other EVs lack, and after this fan shared her experience, others couldn’t help but praise the car.

Warming up your car in the winter is no problem when you own this EV
In the colder months of the year, until Spring rears its head, starting and heating up your daily driver can be a strenuous task.
For those with gas cars, extra measures have to be taken to ensure that no exhaust emissions or chemicals are being emitted into areas with limited ventilation, such as garages.
However, owning an EV can eliminate these worries entirely.
One TikTok creator, saysierrajae, explained that, after she bought her electric car, she’s simply never looked back.
“One of the best parts about owning a Tesla in the winter? You don’t have to open your garage just to warm up your car.
“You can stay safe and leave the garage door closed,” she wrote after sharing a video of the touchscreen in her cabin.
Here’s what other features Tesla boasts for winter rides
From warming up the charging port to pre-conditioning the battery before charging in sub-zero temperatures, Tesla has you covered across all seasons.
In fact, the car manufacturer even offers wiper defrosters, as well as Snow Chains for tires to keep you safe on icy road trips or traveling from A to B.
After watching the content creator’s car in action, others couldn’t help but comment on the clever tip.
“My 1st winter with mine and I can’t even believe how life-changing this is… and NOT ever standing outside at the gas pump again,” said one user.
“u just get it, queen,” added another.
You have to admit, it must be nice to get your engine going without any additional breeze slapping you in the face.
