Verge Motorcycle’s next electric model has the potential to truly break through.
The Finnish company, which up until now has been best known for the hubless design language, announced at this CES 2026 that it that it is launching an updated version of the TS Pro that features a solid-state battery. The technology, which the brand and partner Donut Lab say makes the bike a “world’s first,” allows the two-wheeler to travel 370 miles between charges.
With its sporty look and hubless rear motor, the new TS Pro is almost identical to its predecessor with one major change—its solid-state battery. The unit, which creator Donut Lab says has been “rigorously tested across extreme conditions,” features solid material instead of the liquid electrolyte found in traditional lithium-ion batteries, according to a press release. Not only does this make the unit more efficient because of its higher energy density, but it also makes it safer since the liquid electrolyte is flammable.

The new TS Pro will be available with either a 20.2-kWh or 33.3-kWh battery pack. The smaller unit has a range of 217 miles, while the extended-range can travel up to 370 miles on a single charge, according to the Verge website. Just as impressive is that 186 miles of range can be added after just 10 minutes connected to a NACS fast charger, which makes topping up the bike not all that different from filling up an ICE model with gas.
The TS Pro’s improved efficiency doesn’t come at the cost of performance. Verge still tout’s the bike’s “supercar power.” The hubless motor makes 136.8 hp and 737 ft lbs of torque. Thanks to all that grunt the motorcycle can zoom from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 124 mph. We have a feeling even the purists out there will be impressed by those numbers.
As impressive as this all may sound, it’s easy to be skeptical since the TS Pro will be the first EV—motorcycle or larger—sold with a solid-state battery in the U.S. Still, Verge and Donut Lab seem quite confident they can deliver on their ambitious promises. The motorcycle maker says that it will begin deliveries of its new bike, which starts at $29,900 but costs at least $34,900 with the extended-range battery pack, in the first quarter of 2026.
