2025 Ford Transit Custom Hybrid Review
It’s Jamie, Van Broker UK. I’m here with Tom. He’s going to tell us all about this Transit Custom. Right then, everyone. So, what you have here is a new 25 model year Ford Transit Custom. Look at the stripes. That tells you straight away that is the Sport. What a lot of people don’t see these days, come around here, open this little flap up. So, it’s a new plug-in hybrid. What this means is you got a 2.5 petrol engine, Jaws torque, 232 horsepower in there, and you team that with a plug-in system that’ll give you up to 30 m charge. Easy to go around town, do yourself on the petrol. If used on a combined system, you can get some great MPG. Look, depending on how you drive it, what kind of weights you’ve got, but some people get up to 50 60 MPG. >> Tom, I love these alloys. They look amazing. >> They do, don’t they? Really finish off the van. >> What size are they? >> 18in Bmetal diamond turn as well. So, they look absolutely fantastic. Really finish off the van well. And this styling here is all standard. >> Yeah. So, on the Sport, you do get a side liver and the stripes that go from front to back. >> Look at the black here. >> Exactly. As I said, from front to back. The stripes could come all the way down. Two colors as well. As you can see here, you’ve got your rear brief camera, parking sensors, and just let everyone know. 232 horsepower. >> Should we go and have a look inside? >> Yeah, carry on. >> I feel right at home here, Tom. This is a really comfortable driver. >> Can you feel the seats hugging you? >> I can. >> Look at that. It’s the sport seats. You can see that as well. Unique to the sports. Again, following from the outside to the inside. >> And what I would say is it’s very supportive on my back. >> Yeah, exactly that. and the large display here for your satellite navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, >> and again, it comes with all the safety features you’d expect. Cruise control, all the safety features like the lane departure warning, speed camera recognition. >> Tom, it’s a bit chilly today. Is there a heated seat here? >> Of course there is. Yeah, we got a heated seat here. Not only that, if you get cold hands, you got a heated steering wheel as well. >> A heated steering wheel. >> I know.
