86 Plymouth Voyager, 2010 328xi, 2001 V70 2.4T … because I couldn’t be bothered to own one car that runs great… I need 3 old cars that run good, but keep me VERY busy lol
Waited 12 years to buy the Voyager from parents of a friend of mine. Cannot wait for summer running around in this thing! 109,000km and rust free! It will be getting a bunch of parts thrown at it over the next couple months.
328xi was a gift from a friend because my Volvo was giving me major mechanical headaches. Im VERY thankful for this car, it saved my ass this summer when i suddenly found myself without a car to drive. My fav part about it is the color "Tasman Green Metallic" was a dealer only special order option. I've never seen one like it before. Im now the 3rd owner of it. It spent its whole life in an underground parking garage. Whoever bought this thing new went to town with the spec sheet, it has almost every extra you could get on a 328 in 2010.. probably around 12k in options on top of the base price. My friend bought it 8 years ago and its never given any issues. No error codes, drives smooth, cold a/c, currently sitting at 218,000km. Its my first BMW.
2001 V70 2.4t was inherited from my uncle who bought it new.. I have had it for the last 6 years and have done extensive work to keep it on the road but it fights me every step of the way. It came to me with 290,000km and a LOT of differed maintenance and i have had a hell of a time trying to catch up to it. Its currently sitting at 455,000km. This summer the PCV failed spectacularly and blew out the cam seals causing a major oil leak. I have not had the time to fix it but recently i did lend it to a friend who drove it for a couple weeks .. thankfully she kept an eye on the oil and was able to return it to me running. This thing has been a pleasure to learn how to work on cars, but my god.. it just wants to die. I hope to try and doctor it up after i work on the van this winter.. but i dunno, im kinda falling in love with the 328.
