A Lot of eBike for Under $1,000 | Kingbull Hunter2.0 budget fat tire ebike
All right, people. Today we’re looking at the Kingbull Hunter 2.0. This is an $849 bike with a 48vt 15 A battery, which is pretty standard, pretty average. Um, it has 750 W motor in the back. It has giant 26×4 in tires, 26×4, really big tires. Um, really wide, good knob, so you could definitely do some off-road, light off-road. Um, it does have suspension forks, which is nice. It doesn’t have uh rear suspension. Um it has five pedal assist levels. Um it has hydraulic disc brakes, which is nice, especially at this price point with um 180 m millimeter rotors in the back and the front. Um it comes with fenders, which is nice. It has a headlight and a tail light and a horn. Okay. And a nice color display, which we’re going to look at right now. Oh, and it comes with a nice rack in the back that actually comes with bungee cords, which is nice. Put a lunch pack here. Put a gym bag, put your work bag, your satchel, whatever, briefcase, whatever it is. Um, yeah. So, here’s the display. Nice color display. Big old miles per hour. You got your pedal assist level. You got how many miles you’ve gone. You got your battery. Right here is where the light goes on. Push that. The headlight comes on. Okay. And then it’s got a tail light. Okay, these are the big old tires. Like really big tires. Like they just roll over everything. I mean, really thick, really wide, and really big. Okay. All right. And then the hydraulic disc brakes, 180 mm rotors. Pretty nice. I like their freaking logo. I don’t know what it is, but it’s pretty cool. It’s like a bull. I don’t know. It’s pretty slick. Then you got the preload and lockout on the suspension. And then um five pedal assist levels uh twist throttle and seven gears. Okay. So now we’re going to go for a ride and see what she’s got. All right. All right people. We’re going to go for a ride and see what she’s got. Okay. Come on, peoples. Let’s move. It’s got some nice pickup, you know. Um, seems to go 20 in throttle and then 28, I guess, in pedal assist. And we’re going to check that out. You’ll see how quick it like just takes off. It’s got some nice like it like lurches, you know. It’s definitely got some nice pickup. So, it’s pretty quick. Yeah, I’m actually like going faster than this guy almost. It’s kind of cool. So, nice pickup. 750 watt. Feels like with the um with the uh 750 nominal and uh looks like it goes maybe 800 850 peak. Uh that’s what it feels like anyway. Okay. And you got your nice front suspension which is nice. Got some nice bounce. Okay. We’re going to do a little downy up here and see what that’s all about. See if we could feel the bumps. Yeah, it handles the bumps really nice. Yeah, for sure with the uh front suspension. Okay. Seem to find like a hill or something. Really nice brakes. Very nice brakes. Okay. All right. We’re going to do um some pedal assist testing now. We’re going to put it in pelus one. Okay, we’re in gear. Let’s put in gear three. See, you’re going like 9 miles an hour. Gear four, pedal assist 2 definitely lurches forward. I mean, now you’re going 14 miles an hour. Gear six, pedal assist 3, you’re going 19 miles an hour. Pedal assist four, gear 7, you’re going 23 mph. Pedal assist 5, gear 7, you’re going 26. 27. I got the 27. All right, I got the 27. Um, I’m 5’11. uh 190 lb right now actually. Um so yeah, that’s kind of uh the pedal assist testing capabilities. Okay. And uh yeah, it’s a nice bike. It’s nice cruise smooth, you know, very smooth. It’s a nice cruising bike. Um you can definitely do some light off-road um like dirt roads, like light fire roads. Um definitely handle some gravel. Definitely handle some grass. I’ll do some grass here in a second. Um, and uh, I’m in a pretty flat area, so I’m not really finding hills, but I can tell you that this thing has pretty good hill climbing capability just by the torque, you know what I mean? Um, little bit of dirt here. Meander pretty well. It’s got nice grip. Okay, for sure. Nice grip. Kind of slum without sliding. Let’s do a grass test from a dead stop. Okay, put in pelus 5. Yeah, you can just tell it pulls you through really fast. So, it’s got some nice takeoff. So, it definitely has some nice torque. Um, I’m not sure what it says on the website, but I’m guessing it probably has about 70 N of torque. Um, which is pretty decent for a bike like this. Here’s some gravel for you. See, I’m not sliding. And uh it’s got some nice grip. Definitely has some nice grip and uh I think I’m in the flattest flattest city on earth. There’s no hills, but telling you this thing can definitely handle hills. Um I can tell you with just about 100% certainty that this thing could go up pretty decent size hills. Whether you’re pedaling or not, even throttle, you probably get a pretty nice hill. But definitely with pedaling, put it in the first put it in the uh the lowest gear. Pedal assist four probably get you to jump about just about anything. But pedal assist five, you’re definitely going up, you know, just about any hill you want to go up. Okay. See, it peaks at 20, peaks at 19 in throttle. Then I got it to 27 with pedal assist. You see, I’m bouncing. It’s got some really nice front suspension. Okay. And uh yeah. Yeah. Just flies through quick grass like nothing. It’s a nice bike, especially for 849, you know. I mean, the at this price point to be getting a motor that’s pretty powerful and to be getting hydraulic disc brakes is pretty pretty surprising. So, um, yeah, you’re getting a nice bike here for a lowest price point. And you’ll see I’ve reviewed King Bulls before. They’re nice bikes. I’m pretty high on King Bull, right? You get your horn, too. Like, you can wake up the freaking neighbors. Somebody’s going to come out with a freaking shotgun here in a minute, but you can wake people up. You can see that guy saw me. You can ward off traffic. You can you ride by the the fellas and you can go, you know, you can make stupid noises. Um, got it all people. Yeah, hydraulic disc brakes at this price point is extremely surprising to me. And I was expecting um for this price point like a pretty mellow This guy doesn’t even know I’m here. No idea. I was expecting a pretty mellow um uh motor. like not having a lot of power, but definitely got some nice power. So, all in all, nice bike, people. I think it’s a good choice. Could definitely do um you know, with the front suspension, with the big tires, uh and the power, you could, you know, do some cruising off-road, light off-road, you know, some trails, some uh you know, fire roads, that kind of thing. Um definitely go to the park, go to work, gym. um store. You got your uh bungee cord in the rack in the back. Um at 15 amp hour battery, you’re probably going to go with throttle maybe 22 24 miles. With pedal assist, you know, 26, 28, something like that. Um definitely if you’re in the lower pedal assist level. Um decent size battery. Some of them come with 10 amp hour, few come with 20. 15 is pretty standard. So, um, if you’re on the lighter side, you, uh, you’re probably going to get mid20s, uh, with, uh, pedals with throttle. Yeah. Okay. Nice bike. It’s not going to do you wrong. Okay. So, that’ll do it. 849, 750 W motor, front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, 180 mm rotors. Five pedal assist levels 20 miles an hour and uh I just hit a big yawn. That’s that’s what the uh the dead time was there. Anyway, that’s going to do it. Thanks for watching. Appreciate you. Uh like and subscribe. Leave me a comment. I always try to get back to my commenters. And uh that’s going to do it for this one. God bless. Peace out.
