My boyfriends parents live in NJ and they have a mint condition Cadillac unrestored original 1949 (62 series 4 door sedan), current owner (his dad) who is the “second owner” had it for 57 years with 33k original miles. They have won over 80 car show trophies.
They are hoping to sell it so they can move down to Florida. He is in his 80s and have only tried to sell it locally but they live in a very small town with bids very low and wanting to buy for parts. This car is his baby, he would like to sell it to someone who cares for it and to get a decent price as well.
