VISTA: At around 7:12 PM, reports of a bicycle crash came out near the intersection of Los Angeles Drive and California Avenue.
Upon arrival, first responders located a male in his 30s who was in and out of consciousness and suffering from major facial injuries.
The rider was transported to a trauma center.
According to early information, the rider was traveling on Los Angeles Drive when he made contact with the side of a parked pickup and crashed, striking his face on the ground.
At this time, alcohol is believed to be a possible factor, however the incident remains under investigation.
