Two teens were seriously injured after a collision with a car in Mililani Sunday night, according to first responders.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene at Alapoai Street and Kuahelani Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. Sunday and treated a 16-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. The pair were said to be riding tandem on the e-bike, without helmets, when the collision occurred.
Paramedics treated them for their injuries and took them both to an emergency room in serious condition.
No further details on what led to the collision — and whether the car struck the ebike or vice versa — were available.
