The Geely Zeekr 9X is a full-size, six-seat luxury plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV that officially launched in China in September 2025 and is the first hybrid model from the previously all-electric Zeekr brand. It is a large, high-performance vehicle known for its powerful hybrid system and advanced technology features.

Performance and Powertrain

The Zeekr 9X is built on a 900V high-voltage architecture and utilizes the SEA Hybrid system, which functions as a range-extended electric vehicle (REEV), where the 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine acts solely as a generator for the electric motors.

Engine & Motor Output: The entry-level variant uses dual electric motors for a total output of 660 kW (885 hp), while the top-trim Hyper variant uses three motors for a combined 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) and 1,410 Nm of torque.

Acceleration: The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time is a rapid 3.1 seconds for the Hyper variant and 3.9 seconds for the entry-level models.

Range: It is available with two battery options, a 55 kWh pack and a 70 kWh pack.

Pure electric range: Ranges from 235 km to 380 km (CLTC conditions) depending on the battery size and variant.

Combined range: The total mixed range with a full fuel tank can reach up to 1,250 km (CLTC conditions).

Charging: The 900V system supports 6C ultra-fast charging, which can charge the battery from 20% to 80% in approximately nine minutes.
