Police said they have identified Adalberto Cordova Torres as the suspect in homicides that happened on Nov. 24 and Nov. 29 in Phoenix.
PHOENIX — A suspect is under arrest in connection with two separate homicides in the Valley, according to authorities.
The Phoenix Police Department said detectives have identified 21-year-old Adalberto Cordova Torres as the suspect in homicides that happened on Nov. 24 and Nov. 29. He was identified in connection with a Nov. 11 shooting where gunshots were fired into a house.
Police said on Nov. 24, Marcus Adams, 45, was shot and killed near 19th Avenue and Greenway Road. Records show the victim was shot at least nine times.

Then on Nov. 29, another deadly shooting occurred near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. Police said 29-year-old Andreas Samual Olguin was pronounced dead at the scene. Records show the victim was shot at least 11 times.
Video surveillance showed that the suspect in the Nov. 29 shooting was seen riding an electric bike at the time of the incident, records show.

Before the deadly shooting, a house was shot up near Roosevelt Street and Central Avenue. No injuries were reported, but multiple bullet holes were found in the home.
Police said ballistic evidence collected from all the crime scenes was used to connect the cases.
“Once the ballistic evidence from the three cases was fully processed, a correlation between the cases was found and all three cases were linked through this ballistic evidence,” police said.
On Dec. 4, police took Torres into custody after spotting him ride an electric bike and carrying a backpack. Records show police allegedly found a handgun inside the backpack.
Police said investigators also searched Torres’s home and found evidence related to the crimes.
Police said Torres is facing multiple charges, including two counts of murder.
