If you take a 90’s F250HD, and a 2025 F250, they are roughly the same size in all dimensions(if it’s 2wd, the 4wd ones now sit slightly higher thanks to the solid front axle). Similar visibility. Speaking from experience, I own a 95 2wd extended cab as a personal vehicle, and a 2025 4wd extended cab as a work vehicle. Both long beds, both are 7.3’s. They are equally easy to see out of, very similar blind spots.
Same could be said for Dodge/Ram
GM on the other hand, it seems like they are trying to make this thing have the worst visibility it possibly can. I think this is part of the reason Ford and Ram both do better as commercial vehicles. Ford and Ram chassis cabs are a common site, not so much for GM products anymore. The engines, at least the gas ones, aren’t much bigger than they used to be, I can sit inside the engine bay in my brothers 2023 Chevy(6.6 gas)
