Officers from District A-1 (Downtown) distributed Boston Police Department Guide for Food Delivery Drivers Using Mopeds, Bicycles, and E-Bikes. The pamphlet created by a Sergeant was given to operators at several downtown locations today. The outreach effort aimed to help delivery workers understand how to properly register their equipment and to clarify key rules of the road.
The pamphlet, available in three languages, includes scannable barcodes linking to additional resources. Recognizing that certain driving practices may be legal in other countries, this guide is intended to encourage voluntary compliance with local laws and city ordinances.
