$10,000 “e-bike” vs. budget alternative (happyrun g300 pro) #surron #bike

When I tell people that I spent $10,000 building this ebike, most people get mad. So, I got this budget alternative that costs 80% less. Let’s see how they stack up. They have the same front and rear fenders as well as the same seat, but the budget version has fake carbon fiber. This one has fully operable pedals, while this one does not. Custom subframe with a custom powder coat color. Even the spring is powder coated chrome, while the budget bike is hydro dipped camouflage. And for some reason, the rear shock is way beefier than on that bike. Adjustable suspension with 7/8 bars, while this bike runs essentially a super beefy mountain bike fork and a direct mount mountain bike stem. This goes 50 mph. This goes 60 mph. Folks, unfortunately, this does beg the question, uh, did I waste $10,000?
