Škoda Auto has produced 100,000 units of the all-electric Elroq compact SUV since production began in early 2025. The anniversary vehicle, an Elroq RS in Mamba Green, was built at the Mladá Boleslav plant on a flexible production line that also manufactures the Enyaq and the MQB-based Octavia, enabling parallel production of battery electric and internal combustion engine models.
The Elroq ranked as the second best-selling battery electric vehicle in Europe during the first three quarters of 2025, with Škoda Auto delivering nearly 120,000 BEVs globally in that period. In Europe, the Elroq placed second in BEV sales whilst the Enyaq ranked sixth amongst electric cars.
The model achieved the highest BEV sales in the Czech Republic, Denmark and Slovakia, and ranked among the top three in Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland. In Germany, Škoda’s largest single market, the Elroq was the best-selling electric vehicle in October with 3,320 registrations, and led European BEV sales in April, July and October 2025.
The Elroq has received multiple international awards including the Red Dot Design Award and was recently named ‘German Car of the Year 2026’. A jury of 40 journalists selected the compact SUV from 80 new vehicles, with the model scoring particularly highly for quality, environmental characteristics, price-performance ratio, handling and drivetrain.
“Producing 100,000 Elroqs in under a year of series production is a major achievement for the whole team,” Andreas Dick, board member for production and logistics at Škoda Auto, said. “The tremendous response from customers highlights the excellent manufacturing quality of cars ‘made in Mladá Boleslav’.”
