So, I’ve been charging my Nissan AR for about 3 months with this Grizzly Classic Avalanche Edition 40 amp charger, and honestly, this thing has been absolutely rock solid. Full transparency, Grizzly actually did send me this out to try, but this isn’t sponsored, so all opinions are my own, and they don’t have to approve what I have to say. Even though I had an electrician install it, he said this is the highest quality EV charger he has ever installed. It’s got full metal construction, and at $349, it’s a pretty good value for what you get. There’s no app, there’s no glitches, there’s no weird throttling. All I do is plug it in. The charging speeds stay consistent throughout the entire charge. Plus, this Avalanche edition looks really good on the wall. Plus, this cord even stays flexible when it gets cold out. If you want a tough, affordable level two home charger that you can just plug it in and forget about it, the Grizzly is definitely one of my favorite pieces of gear.
