Springs or Coilovers

I put these wheels on a couple weeks ago and I don’t like the tire clearance at all. I’ve got some Godspeed lowering springs that are supposed to lower the car 1.6 inches. Other than lowering the car a little to get rid of the gap, I’m not wanting to do a lot of modifications. So should I stick with the springs or send them back and get coilovers. The roads here aren’t the best and I’m wanting to keep the ride somewhat smooth. Thanks for any suggestions you guys might have.
