Yamaha Aerox Goes Electric | Launch in Q1 of 2026 #shorts
So this is the Yama Aerox and this is not any regular Aerox. This is the Aerox E. What does Aerox E mean? That means the AOX has gone electric. Now how is it powered? It’s got two 1.5 kW detachable batteries. You can see them right next to me over there. Now these two batteries go into the scooter and power this thing. Now, it’s a bit unconventional because a lot of other electric scooter manufacturers have obviously taken the battery being integrated into the scooter. But because the Aerox was such a well-known scooter, it had been engineered for an ice platform. What Yamaha did here was they took two batteries, put them in, made the Aerox an electric scooter. It’s got three riding modes. Most of the features on offer are the same as the regular AOX. Looks quite similar as well. Obviously, there’s a new paint scheme going on over here. What do you think about the AOX? Let us know down in the comment section.
Yamaha is getting ready to enter the electric two wheeler market in India and one of its initial two offerings is going to be the Aerox E. While it looks like a regular Aerox, the Aerox E makes use of two 1.5 kWh batter packs that are removable and can easily be swapped with a fully charged one.
Yamaha says that the Aerox E will go on sale in Q1 of 2026 but there is no word on the price. What’s your take on the Aerox E?
