Hoping for an affordable EV? The Afeela 1 isn’t that car. With its $89,000 starting price for the Origin trim (deliveries beginning in 2027), we are talking top-tier executive sedan prices that rival those of the Lexus LS. The Afeela 1 Signature, the first trim to debut, will start at an even higher $102,900 price. The Afeela 1 will be built domestically at the same Honda EV Hub in Ohio as the 2026 Acura RSX and will offer up to 300 miles of driving range.

Alfa Romeo Future Cars

2028 Alfa Romeo Stelvio

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV was expected to receive a new generation in 2027, but official FCA statements make it clear that this gorgeous Italian SUV will have its current generation’s shelf life extended until at least 2027.

This means the successor to the FCA Giorgio Platform-based Stelvio, which has been around mostly unchanged since its release in 2017, will not debut until the 2028 model year. This delay comes as a result of an internal strategic restructuring, as the Stelvio SUV is no longer fated to be exclusively an EV model for its next generation. Performance junkies, fret not, as this delay also means that Quadrifoglio versions of the Stelvio will be making a comeback, as internal combustion engines will still be the primary focus in the next generation.

The Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV is set to be the first new model to debut from the brand, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia sport sedan will follow soon after. Currently, the new Alfa Romeo models share the FCA Giorgio Platform, but the next generation of both will be built on the STLA Large Longitudinal Platform.

This new Stellantis platform follows the strategy of releasing electric models first, with combustion models following after. The release of the next generation of Alfa Romeo vehicles has been delayed as they figure out which powertrains will be available and not, but expect more concrete details to be revealed about both these Italian models over the next couple of months.

The latest evolution of Audi’s signature design takes on a new challenge: an all-electric two-seat sports car dubbed the Audi Concept C. While its exact production dates are still unconfirmed, this futuristic roadster can only be thought of as the spiritual successor to the Audi TT that we will see become a reality in the next couple of years.

While details about this sports car’s exact power figure or electric range are still unknown, we can say that, visually, it looks absolutely stunning and evokes emotions that Audi sports cars haven’t mustered in a long time. You can see the design accents of brand legends like the Audi R8 and Audi C6 RS6 all blended into a new and unmistakable aesthetic that we hope will be the future of Audi design.

BMW Future Cars

2026 BMW iX3

2027 BMW iX3 17

BMW’s debut “Neue Klasse” era model is the 2026 BMW iX3, a fully electric SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle). The BMW iX3 is built to usher in an entirely new era of BMW technology, and the iX3 is a showcase of what’s to come for the German luxury brand.

2027 BMW iX3 10

Most notably, the BMW iX3 will offer 500 miles of driving range, an unprecedented capability previously unavailable in any other electrified BMW product. Production has already begun for the electric BMW SUV, with the AWD 469-horsepower 2026 BMW iX3 50 xDrive being the first model available. Stateside customers should expect BMW’s newest product to hit showroom floors by the summer of 2026.

The BMW X5 is one of the German brand’s bestsellers, and it is set for a new generation in 2028. This future generation of the leading BMW SUV will be the first BMW model offering five different drivetrain technologies (fully electric, plug-in hybrid, gas, diesel, and hydrogen fuel cell).

The BMW iX5 Hydrogen will be the first to lead the charge as the debut model in 2028. BMW states they are committed to hydrogen technology moving forward, as it has “an essential part” in global decarbonization. Toyota, the leader in hydrogen technology, has developed this third-generation fuel cell system in collaboration with BMW. The two global giants have been collaborating on hydrogen powertrains since 2014, but this time will be the first iteration of BMW’s own fuel cell system, with the individual cells coming from Toyota.

Cadillac’s second-generation XT5 crossover SUV launched in China to impressive success in late 2024, but we won’t be getting it stateside until about 2027. However, this is no longer a rumor, but a fact, as the 2027 Cadillac XT5 was officially confirmed for North American production in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

The mass-appeal luxury crossover will be a big step forward for Chevrolet’s luxury brand, as it utilizes a hybrid powertrain in addition to other gas-powered models. To compete with segment leaders like the Lexus RX, Cadillac will need this new SUV to have an efficient and powerful powertrain while ensuring interior quality reaches new heights.

Looking to strike fear into the heart of any living being within a mile radius? The 2026 Corvette ZR1X, with its 1,250 combined horsepower, should do the trick.

A hybrid all-wheel-drive mid-engined Corvette may not be for everybody, but when you consider its $200,000 price point, you understand this vehicle is only for a select few. Hypercar? Yes, that, and then some, because the 5.5-liter twin-turbo flat-plane crank V-8 already pushes out over 1,000 horsepower before we fiddle with any hybrid boosting. No road-legal vehicle should be this fast, and yet, you will soon be able to purchase the 2026 Corvette ZR1X before the end of the year.

2027 Chevrolet Bolt

On the absolute polar opposite of the spectrum, we have the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt, which is the American brand’s next generation of its compact crossover electric SUV. With a $28,595 starting price and 255 miles of range, this little SUV is set to be Chevy’s newest bestseller in the near future.

Its most notable feature is the 10 percent to 80 percent charging time of 26 minutes with 150 kW+ DC fast charging, which is 2.5 times faster than its predecessor. Also, for the first time, the second-generation Bolt EV will be available in RS trim, and we have to admit, this cute crossover looks darn good. Although we haven’t gotten behind the wheel of one yet, the overall package presented in the new Bolt looks appealing, and we are anxious to see how it excels in everyday urban situations.

The 2027 Chrysler Airflow is the start of the brand’s plan to achieve a full line-up of electric vehicles by 2028, with the Airflow SUV being the first. With the limited details we have on the Chrysler Airflow, we know it will be AWD and powered by dual 150 kW electric motors in the front and rear. Level 3 autonomous driving capability will be standard, and the expected driving range is 400 miles on a single charge. Will this project ever actually come to life, or will Chrysler only sell minivans forever? Stay tuned for further updates.

Dodge is looking to start 2026 strong with the debut of the latest generation of the iconic Dodge Charger. The first model available will be the Dodge Charger Scat Pack, powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo “Hurricane” inline-six engine.

This new powertrain allows the Charger Scat Pack to produce up to 550 horsepower, thanks to 30 psi of boost. This power is managed by an AWD layout that enables a 3.9-second 0-to-60 MPH time. You might think, AWD inline-six muscle car? What gives? Yet, purists fear not, as the RWD-only mode can be switched on at any time. The starting MSRP for the Charger Scat Pack will be $54,995, and two-door models will be available by the end of the year, with the four-door variant arriving in mid-2026.

2026 Dodge Charger R/T

Debuting after the more powerful Dodge Charger Scat Pack will be the Dodge Charger R/T, also powered by the new twin-turbo inline-six engine. While the Scat Pack receives the high output or the “HO” variant of this new engine, the R/T model receives the standard output or the “SO” variant.

The SO variant of this inline-six is still impressively powerful, producing 420 horsepower and 468 pound-feet of torque. We suspect that with a little bit of tuning, those numbers will increase significantly. MSRP is set at $49,995, and the 2026 Dodge Charger R/T should be available in mid-2026.

Less than a month ago, Ferrari finally gave us some solid details about the brand’s upcoming all-electric SUV, the Ferrari Elettrica. This will be the first EV in the Italian brand’s vehicle line-up, and Maranello promises the innovative design retains Ferrari’s renowned emotive quality behind the wheel.

In true Ferrari fashion, all the main components are designed and produced in-house, stemming from research all the way back to the first hybrid solutions utilized in the 2009 Ferrari Formula 1 car. The front electric motor system is the same as that used in the front axle of the Ferrari F80 supercar. The Ferrari Elettrica is described as “ready to go into production” and features over 60 patented proprietary technologies. A simulated paddle shifting system with five progressive levels will provide a certain level of driver involvement. With a 2.5-second 0-to-60 MPH time and a lot of Italian charm, the Ferrari Elettrica is bound to make a splash. The official reveal is set for spring 2026, with rolling updates filtering through the beginning of next year.
