SEE THE FULL VIDEO of this great car and more!!! The Lamborghini Revuelto is a plug-in hybrid super sports car, the first HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle) from the brand, which replaced the Lamborghini Aventador as its flagship model. It was unveiled in 2023, just before the brand’s 60th anniversary. Named after a rebellious fighting bull, the Revuelto combines a new V12 engine with three electric motors to produce over 1,000 horsepower.
Performance and powertrain
The Revuelto is the most powerful Lamborghini ever produced.
Engine: The car features a new 6.5-liter, naturally-aspirated V12 engine. On its own, the engine produces 814 horsepower, making it the most powerful and lightest 12-cylinder engine Lamborghini has ever made.
Electric motors: This engine is combined with three electric motors, two positioned on the front axle and one integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Combined power: The V12 and electric motors deliver a combined output of 1,001 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque.
Performance metrics: According to Edmunds, the Revuelto can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed over 214 mph.
Exterior design
The Revuelto’s exterior design combines Lamborghini’s iconic styling with new, high-tech features.
Aeronautics inspiration: The overall shape follows the iconic single center line, with sharply sculpted lines and smooth negative curves.
“Y” shapes: Y-shaped LED lights are featured prominently in both the headlights and taillights.
Active aerodynamics: The car is equipped with active aerodynamics, including an active aero spoiler that produces more downforce than its predecessor. It also incorporates redesigned vents underneath the headlights and behind the scissor doors.
Carbon fiber monocoque: For weight reduction and increased rigidity, the car has a carbon-fiber monocoque chassis that extends all the way to the front end.
Exposed engine: The iconic V12 engine is celebrated by being on full display in the rear, with the exhaust tips positioned between the Y-shaped taillights.
Scissor doors: In a nod to its heritage, the car features the brand’s signature scissor-style doors.
Interior and technology
The Revuelto’s interior is inspired by a fighter jet cockpit, with a driver-focused design.
Spacious cockpit: The cabin is more spacious than the Aventador’s, with increased headroom and legroom.
Advanced display system: The Revuelto features a new three-display interface: a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch central display, and an additional 9.1-inch display for the passenger.
Controls: Many controls are located on the compact, thin-rimmed steering wheel, including those for drive modes and hybrid settings.
Connectivity: The infotainment system includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Pilot feel: Distinctive hexagon-shaped elements are used throughout the interior to highlight new functional features and evoke the feel of a jet.
Hybrid drive modes: A new “Città” (city) driving mode limits power output for urban driving. @LamborghiniSquadraCorse @Ferrari @astonmartin @Porsche @BMW @MercedesBenz @mbusa @McLaren @bugatti @koenigsegg @Carsnjets
