EICMA 2025: Hero XPulse 210
Hi there. Uh, I’m Andre from Peak Motorcycles and I’m here at IKEMA 2025 and I’m here at the Hero Motorc Corp stand. I did a video from the Hero Stand last year and to my surprise, it was one of the most popular videos from the show. So, I’ll try and show you a little bit more this time. If I’ve missed anything, I’m sure someone will correct me, but I’ve got a few things here. So, I’ll give you a look around the bikes. So I will start with the hero Dhaka bikes. There’ve been hero bikes in the Dhaka. May not be a complete surprise to know that these aren’t hero hero bikes. I suspect there’s something underneath. You can’t buy one, unfortunately, but they are here on the stand and they’re kind of cool to look at. What I would like to show you is the X Pulse 210. Now, this was launched last year. I think they were the very first bikes they had here on the stand, and I got a load of questions about them. This one here is in the the red, white, and blue trim. It’s a it’s a liquid cooled sort of upgrade to the four valve X pulse 200 and it gives quite a big power increase. Still has a conventional fork. There’s no upside down fork. Does still have a single disc. Does have a LED headlamp. But I think as a if these bikes come to the UK or even to anywhere else in Europe, I think as sort of an entry level trail bike, yeah, they’re pretty nice really. I mean they they do have a what should we reckon? OLED TFT. I can see there’s some indicator lights around the edge uh on the dash. It’s a non-adjustable screen. They are, you know, they look they look kind of cool. Here we have the X Pulse Pro. So, I think this is the 200cc uh aircooled single. Um as you can see, it’s got a kickstart as a backup. I think these have been around in India for a while. Um those of you who follow Lavy and Ollie, I think they’re currently doing their explorations in India uh on on a pair of these. Okay. And here we have an Expulse 210. Uh, this one appears to have been signed uh by Ross Branch, which is great. Um, it’s got a little Dhakar logo on. So, I guess this has got a few extra bells and whistles uh inspired by uh the Dhar bike, certainly the handguards uh and the styling. Yeah, I mean that that does look kind of cool. Uh and I think if these do come to the UK, uh I think for the prices they would sell for, they would be an excellent introduction uh to get people into trail riding. you know, these days a CRF300 will set you back the best part of £6,000. Uh, and even then, the suspension is not great. So, you know, I’m not expecting uh tremendous things from here, but uh the shocks are adjustable. If you can see the uh the adjustment in there, which yeah, isn’t something that you get on a CRF. Not sure about the rear shock if that also has adjustment. I’m sure there’s some preload cuz most of them do, especially if they’re designed to carry pillions. But yeah, I I really quite like the look of that. Few other bikes they’ve got here. We’ve got the Harley-Davidson X440. It’s been around for a few years now. Um I don’t think we ever got that in the UK, but we do now have the Hero Hunk that’s just arrived. So I think there’s one of those up on the stage. I’ll show you the variant that we do actually get. Two more of the smaller displacement bikes. Here we have the the Glamour X uh a small capacity sort of city bike. We also have the Charisma XMR 250. Now, I know that over here a 250 Super Sports uh doesn’t seem like much. Um but in some countries where a 250 is, you know, a step above uh the 160s and the the 200cc bikes and that, you know, it’s quite a thing to uh quite a thing to ride. Here we also have the Hunk 125. Um again, sort of a naked bike, little 125 aircooled engine nestled within there. Have a sort of bigger scooter, a Zoom 160, which again looks looks pretty tidy. Sort of looks adventury, but still has fairly small wheels. One that I miss that was just being cleaned as I walked past is the Hunk 250. So again, 250cc. I guess that’s for where the the Indian number plate goes on the front, which does spoil the lines a little bit, but yeah, you know, super simple and it’s got that big hump tank, which probably means you can get away with a much lower seat height, still be able to ride it properly. We have a few bikes up here on the stage. So, uh, the first one I’m going to show you is this Hunk 440. So, this is now available in the UK. These are available to buy. Um, I’m sure there’s a website if you search for them. I’m not sure on distribution for other countries. It’s a it’s a 440cc uh liquid cooled single, I believe. Um and yeah, I think I think they look great. You know, they’re um they’re simple. Uh but they certainly look look like a big bike. You know, I’m sure have quite a presence on the road. Uh yeah, you know, they are made to a price and I think some of the fit and finish reflects that. But, you know, if you want something that’s a little bit more than one of those, like stepping up from a 125, uh I think you could do a lot worse. Here we have the 440 SX uh in red and silver. Yeah, it comes with a few, you know, slightly different things. Instead of having that sort of um molded uh silver grab bar, it’s got a cylindrical one. And then if you’re coming up and over the front, it’s got the same dash, but it has that braced handlebar. Gives it a bit more of a scrambler sort of look. Um looking down on this as well, I see there’s just a few things like the SOS button. So, I’m wondering if this does actually have uh things like the emergency call that you get on even some top- end bikes like BMWs. Right then, I think that is most of the bikes here, but there are a few uh electric concepts that I want to show you. Uh the first of which is this slightly oddl looking VA. Um it’s got that strange gap underneath the seat, but then again, I suppose all the weight from the batteries and the motor uh is down low. Not sure if that bike actually runs. Um but yeah, it’s certainly something a little bit different. And as for Evanability, they have these funny little things uh called Vita, which looks a little bit like a rolling suitcase except don’t know if you can see that on there. It’s um it’s basically a backpack. So you could carry it on your back, but below that there’s some foot pads that you stand on, and it’s actually on caterpillar tracks. Um so yeah, that is a caterpillar tracked uh scooter. Um yeah, that’s very unusual. Okay, the last thing I think on this side is the VX2 electric scooter. Maybe more of a city thing uh than the sort of thing that I tend to deal with. But yeah, it’s a 125cc, I believe. Is that petrol or is that electric as well? It says 125 on the side. Uh so I’m wondering if it was petrol, but I see no exhaust. So perhaps not. Oh, definitely not because there they have the V VO VX2 charge anywhere, anytime. Available in a whole selection of colors. I think these are all the same bike just in black, gray, and yellow. And then last, but by no means least, which certainly shows the sort of direction that hero might be going in, is this Vita micro car. It’s actually pretty long. I think it’s just two seats uh inside there. Maybe like a either a boot or a couple of seats in the back. Um doesn’t look like that’s production ready, but maybe that is the future. Right then, uh I think that is everything I can show you from the hero stand here at IKMA. Um, and there’s lots of new things uh in the electric flavor. Um, that tracked suitcase was certainly a little bit different. Um, I still like these 210 uh, Expulse 210s. Uh, this uh, Ross Branch version over my shoulder looks like it’s got a few bells and whistles different to just the standard bike. But anyway, I hope that’s been interesting and useful. If it has been, please check out my other content from Igner and maybe I’ll see you there. Right then, I think that’s the end of my day one. I’m not sure when this video will come in the editing, but um yeah, I’ll crack on tonight. Got another day of filming tomorrow, and then that’ll be me done with filming and just editing for the rest of the week. So, thank you for watching these videos, especially if you watch more than one. Um I hope they’re useful.
EICMA 2025: Hero XPulse 210
This is my video from the Hero Motocorp stand at EICMA 2025. It was very busy during the day, so I was able to get round just before the show closed on Tuesday and almost have the place to myself.
They have a couple of the Dakar bikes, the XPulse 210, 210 Dakar Edition and 200 Pro, the Hunk 440, Harley Davidson X-440 and a handful of other smaller capacity bikes.
They also showcased their future Vida concepts from scooters, to an electric car, and also a backpack/luggage tracked scooter…. Which was rather cool!
No sign of the Xpulse 421, but perhaps next year.
