EV-TOURWE TW-CT – 400KM RANGE ELECTRIC SCOOTER – EICMA 2025
Welcome back to IKMA 2025 everyone and I have stumbled across EV tour here in Hall 4 G78 uh spot and uh this thing absolutely caught my eye because it is an electric scooter but the way they have it set up and there’s something on the other side that I’m going to show you. It’s something that I’ve been talking about with electric scooters they should have this thing comes with three batteries under the seat but you don’t necessarily need to take them out. It comes with if you have all three batteries in 4,000 km range. So, it’s something even if it’s not like in the real world, uh if it’s not 400 km, it’s still going to be 250 to 300 km. Now, that’s something special. The scooter itself looks absolutely great. Uh we don’t have an uh proper cost for end customer at the moment, but roughly it should be somewhere around 4 or 5,000. It’s a 125cc equivalent. Here I have the specs. We have a 3 kW motor, 7260 A battery for one of them. Maximum speed between 80 and 100 km an hour. 400 km maximum range. The vehicle size brake disc front and rear. Front tires are 16 and rear are 14, which makes them perfect for the city. We do have a hub motor in the back. Brake disc up front, brake disc in the back as well. Coming up to the scoot, we have a 6-in TFT dash here with all your uh information like speed, like battery percentage, your trip, and your odometer. Controls on each side. Nice controls. Keyless entry and keyless go. A USB charger, a little cubby hole for your phone, and check this out. A type two rapid charger. So, when you’re out through the city, maybe go through the shopping, you can fast charging. Yeah, you can fast charge your scooter. So you no longer need to take the batteries from under the seat and uh take them home and charge them up. This is the battery here. You can put the two lithium batteries inside and another one is uh under the floor. Now that that does take up all of your uh luggage capacity, but you can put a top case right here on the back and you shouldn’t have any kind of issue. Plus the way it looks. I’m just Can I get on it a little bit? Let’s see the riding position. You know, it ain’t a small scooter. Very comfortable. The handlebar is quite high. You feel like you sit inside it. Tons of leg room so you can carry all your shopping down here. You do have a luggage hook right here. But again, electric scooter, 400 km with a rapid charger, so you can charge it at work. You can charge it where you’re on the go. Uh how long would it take to charge all three batteries? All three batteries maybe in in this way. Uh around the 4 to 5 hours. So 4 to 5 hours on a rapid charger to go from 0 to 400 km of range approximately. Yeah. Yeah. But you’re not going to charge from like from zero. You’re not going to take it to zero. You are going to charge probably when you’re at 20 or 30% to about 80%. So that should be like an hour or two. plenty of time to do your shopping. And with that kind of range, you can go charge it at usually you can find in the supermarket car parks car parks you can find uh charges like this and you can charge in about an hour or two from 20 to 80% and uh get done be done for another week, a week of riding to work, a week of commuting. So, no longer do you have to carry the batteries inside. No longer do you have to live uh uh in a house and not in an apartment building because people that live in apartment buildings have a problem with charging scooters like this. They don’t have a yard where they can pull it and uh access to uh a charger. this thing once a week. You can do go do your weekly shopping and uh also charge it, get a couple of hundred kilometers of range out of it and uh be done for the whole week. And at a cost of about even 5,000, you know, this thing is a steal. Put a top case on the back. Everything seems solidly built. No plastics are rattling. Passenger uh accommodation. The passenger seat is quite big. The rider seat is absolutely gigantic, so comfort is not an issue. 5 kil 3 kW electric motor, that’s about 5 horsepower. So, it ain’t going to be as fast as a 125cc, but it is zippy throw around the city. This is what I like to see. Interesting machines from companies trying to push it.
