2026 Toyota Prius Plug in Hybrid | Short Take
I really like the idea of owning an EV. In fact, I have a home charger, but I’m not sure I want to deal with range anxiety when I’m on the highway. So, the vehicle I have this week might be exactly what I need. It’s a 2026 Toyota Prius plug-in nightshade edition. I really like the sexy style of this. It looks like the old generation Prius and Lamborghini got together and came up with this. I like it in yellow. I like with all the black trim, the 19-inch black wheels from the night shaded package. Looks really nice. Inside also very comfortable. It’s got a flat screen instrument cluster. It’s kind of a heads up effect. Nice wide touchcreen, wireless connections for your phone, wireless charging, all the safety gear. Very nice. But driving it is what you’re going to like. Has a 2 L 4 cylinder engine made it to the hybrid system. You get 40 m electric range. Then the gas engine fires up and then you’re getting 48 m per gallon out on the highway or in town with it. So, great gas mileage, very pleasant drive, and sporty handling. So, let’s talk about price. Well, the base Prius starts under $30,000, but this one, nice shade, everything in it, $41,34.
