Z Stories | Walt and David

I grew up around him. My first Z-ride was probably four or five. Either sitting backwards looking out the back or with my legs hanging just over. We were small enough to fit back there. First time I saw a 240 coming back from Vietnam, we stopped in in Okinawa. All these GIS are just packed around this vehicle. And here’s this most gorgeous car I’ve ever seen in my life. It was a red 240. It’s just so easy to drive and fun to drive and it’s become part of me. This trip has been really good to see the smiles on his face. Having a smile at the end of a 15-hour day on the road and pulls in exhausted. Smile never falls. And that makes me smile. Somebody asked me if I’ll get a million miles on it and I says no. And David chimed in. And he says that’ll it’ll hit a million cuz it’s going to David. Just me in the car. There is a whole sense of freedom. You can do whatever you want. Almost. The Z is freedom.

The passion for the #NissanZ is a quiet inheritance. It’s felt in the early morning drives, the late nights in the garage, and the cross country road trips. This car spans generations for Walt and David. What’s your Z story?
