Electric Cars. Watch for fake hype. 4th Nov 25.
the evening of the 4th of November, 2025 and it’s getting a little chilly now. So, um just a video here on more on electric cars and uh if you want an electric car or anyone wants to buy one, go right ahead. The Chinese have virtually conquered the market even though they’re not able to sell all their all their all their uh electric cars either, but they’ve conquered the market and as a result German industry that hope to be making them themselves is crippled is crippled between energy and microchips and the whole lot. They’re they’re crippled. I do not see I know electric car needs microchips. I have a digger and a tractor and two tractors and there’s not a microchip in any of them. They work perfectly. My licensed firearms have no microchips. They work perfectly. My old clocks work perfectly. My lathe has no microchips. Works perfectly. My drill press, no problem. I have two welders, no problem. I have a diesel generator, no problem. And two petrol generators, no problem. No microchips at all. It’s all AI baloney. and it may well prove to be destroy the whole thing. I say there’s a bubble on it as well. An awful lot of the demand for electricity is keeping this AI going and all the big wealthy people are all investing in it. Okay. Now, the thing is, you know, I have a BME bonnet about renewable energy and this idea that electric cars can run on windmills, which is a complete and utter lie. How are you going to run electric cars on windmills, wind turbines and wind energy and solar energy on a calm night? And tonight is one of those calm nights. How are you going to run a whole fleet of cars? How did anyone ever calculate how much capacity in your power station you’d need to run all these cars you see running around on petrol and diesel? So right now in Ireland it’s it’s um it’s uh Tuesday night and there’s cars everywhere. You couldn’t if you go go out on the main road, it’s quiet here. Go out on the main road, there’s cars up down, you couldn’t get across. You wouldn’t want to walk across the road without being clear. Now here, here is Air Grid’s dashboard. There it’s there. If you look at it, and if we go into it here, we can see what the current state is of generating of generating. And the lies that’s been told, it says uh uh sis system demand is 4,943 megawatt, wind is 234, which is nothing, and solar is 22. Well, they have it zero and two that I wouldn’t argue over that because there could be some glitch somewhere. So two megawatt is is not really matter but there is two according to this but some of the the other link says there’s none. So here here it is now. So there you are now. So they are saying that uh renewables are 44.4%. 44.5%. 44.5%. Now there is waste to heat. They are generating heat from burning out plastic and old mattress and stuff like that out of the dumps. Certainly they are. And they put them out in the wet which is ridiculous. I’d say there’s a lot of diesel used to do that but that would be a certain amount of renewables but there’s almost no there’s no solar so there can’t be any solar and there’s only 234 out of 5,000. 24 we’ll say we’ll say 240 out of 5,000. and they say there’s 44.5% renewables. So that clearly is a lie. So the re the reality is if you running all electric cars today, you’d have all right now you’d have you’d have no solar energy and you’d only have two 34 megawatts of wind energy and that’s not enough wouldn’t be enough to run a decent town to more maybe that’s it. So what’s the rest of the country going to do? So it’s a huge lie as you see. Now, I spoke with a uh I did an investigation. A a taxi company contacted me and they went for this green. Now, they have a lot of taxis. I don’t know how many. I think they’ll have 12. And you know, vans and cars and all that and they’re very good in a big town and they bought three electric cars and now they’re getting rid of all but they have one Nissan Micro left. They got rid of two because they simply were no good. They couldn’t take on fairs. They would be half through the night they’d pick up one or two fairs in the town. The next thing someone would want to be dropped to a hospital or something or bit up the road or somebody want to go 10 mile away and they couldn’t do it. And I’m told the same. I spoke with a taxi driver in Dublin. He says, “I’m grand here. I’m grand going around the city center and if I have a full battery, I’ll risk going to the airport from the city center and back.” But he says if I wanted to go down to Kinigad or Kair town, I cannot go. So that’s what that man told me. So this other rural taxi company told me they had they had uh uh three electric vehicles. They’ve got rid of two after only about 18 months because they were no good to them. They were useless in the country area. They have one Nissan Micro left and it’s just kept as a kind of an ornament. and they do do a little bit a little bit of a work with it. It’s just a novelty around the place. Now the I also made contact and it was kind of indirectly through the same taxi company which is verified and correct that uh some of their friends bought a Nissen Leaf and they have the Nissen Leaf in the taxi service. You know what I mean? So we say we said this is the Nissen Leaf but there’s another Nissen Leaf. So, they keep this one, but they know there’s a problem with this one. The person that bought this particular Nissan Leaf has a guarantee on the battery of 7 years, and that’s it. After that, you’re gone. 7 years. I’m driving a Caddy 2018. So, that’s uh that’s seven years. So, now my Caddy van will be going out of warranty soon. So, there has to be four cells gone in the battery. There has to be four cells. and and there’s a good lot of a lot of there a few thousand cells in it. There are two volt cells. There has to be four packs or whatever it is. Don’t ask me exactly what it is, but there has to be four gone. But if there’s one gone, you get reduced performance. If there’s two gone, you can only go a certain distance. If there’s three gone, you get a very reduced performance and a lesser mileage and trouble charging it. So, you could have three gone and you’ll not get the guarantee. There has to be four gone before the guarantee will cover it and that has to be within the seven years. I don’t know what will happen. It’s presume if one went after a year, two went after 3 years, five went after 5 years and maybe six went after 6 years, no sorry, four went after 6 years, they might cover it. So I don’t know has anyone got paid? If they have, let me know. But unless all four goes within the seven years, you will not get it repaired. You can’t get two put back in even though it’s faulty on their behalf. The warranty excludes it unless it’s foregone. So, it has to be almost grinding to a halt or near enough. Okay. So, now you know that that’s a hidden thing you wouldn’t know if you went to buy them. And this is just the one I know. It happens to be my people can tell me. But what about all the other makes? I do know a good few Volkswagen ID ID4s and that and now they are it’s still running after a few years and they seem to be all right but they’re mostly owned by people who are company cars. Company buys them for their green credentials. Now another thing about the Nissen Leaf if if uh if you’re in an accident the mechanics will not repair them the same or the panel beers the same as they will a petrol or diesel car. With a petrol or diesel car, if we’ll say the back door, the back passenger door h gets damaged, somebody runs into it. If it’s light damage, it can be repaired. If it’s not, if it’s heavy damage, they buy a new door, a new door, and you put that on your insurance. So, a new door for a car, I’d say it’s about €380, would it be? You have to get sprayed. It could cost you back maybe 600 when all is done. I’m guessing that now, please understand. But it’s a not a big job. And you can spray it and all away from the car and get it all done. The Nissan Leaf back passenger door is 2,500. 2,500 for the electric car. It must be that when they get damaged or something, you can’t repair them. Now, I’m sure we’ll get contributors here who will advise us, but this is a fight. There’s a war going on between the unfortunate owner who was struck by a car or somebody hit it that there wasn’t insurance and or maybe the other party has insurance, I don’t know, whoever it is. Anyway, the insurance company says they’re not going to cover a door because it’s too expensive. So, here we have the official insurance company. It’s AXA insurance saying that they won’t cover claims for repairs and comprehensive insurance or of other people’s insurance because it’s too expensive. So, it’s a matter of looking out. A matter of looking out. These things are bringing total grief. Please understand when you buy something new, it’s great for a few years. Everything’s grand for a few years. But a good petrol or diesel car is only going right a 10 year old. I know someone who has a nice uh 12 Audi Audi A4 diesel only starting to go. The RAV diesel only starting to go at 10 at 10 years and my we had at seven years buzzing along the best whereas the electric car would be blocking a gap. So, people want it, that’s all right. If people want to be suckers, the government is pushing it. How many of the TDs are driving them? The only one I ever knew to buy one was, uh, your man um, Shane Ross, and I don’t know whether he has it yet or not. I know that Aean Cabbage had Ryan was driving a diesel van when he took up a seat the last time he was in a diesel Ford Transit. Maybe he bought one now. I don’t know, but I I doubt it. So, it’s do as I say, but not as you do. You get caught on this old green stuff, you’re a bigger Egypt. But please let your children and all know it’s a bad idea. I see a lot of youngsters out learning to drive and it’s great to see them on it, but stick with your petrol and diesel or diesel. And then there’s this hybrid thing. I’m not a fan. I know the the the Toyota uh uh RAV hybrid has a petrol engine, 2.5 L petrol. It’ll pass anything except a petrol pump. And the the pack the the the the the hybrid pack is only about that size underneath the front passenger seat. It doesn’t have a whole battery. It’ll bring you a few miles up the road. Some people say that the the Toyota is that RH, you know, that small little one. It’s really a two-seater. Some people have great brags of them. They say they’re getting 70 miles to the gallon. Some people say they’re great, but you you wouldn’t fit four people into them. Too easy. Anyway, not you might fit two kids. But then, is it that important to get 70 miles to the gallon? I’d be quite happy now if I could tip along and get me 40, 38, 40, 42. I’d be happy enough. I know I will charge batteries or nothing else. and and the complexity of it. Then if anything goes wrong, will you get mechanics? Who will you get to fix your electric car? Can you tow them? Most of them can’t be towed. So, but at the same time, I have to admit, I would have thought that by now in Dublin City there’d be huge jams with electric cars running out of charge. I would have thought that would have been the case. There’d be traffic jams everywhere on a Friday night. But uh I don’t see it happening. I don’t see it happening. I do know that the Ge I made a video before about the GI in County La chasing a villain or Ray Rascal he was he had no tax insurance or nothing and they were following him and because he they ran out of charge and he got away and that video made 33,000 views. It’s there yet and I won’t delete it. 33,000 views. So, it did well for me, but they ran out of charge. But I don’t know how the guards see they they can’t really talk about it. But I know that the people doing the deliveries, the DHL, you know, these uh couriers, they all hate them. None of the drivers want them. They all tell me when they deliver stuff to me, we have a petrol van. Will we ever get or we have electric van? Will we get home? And they’re ringing up these old roads down here, you know. Will we get home at all? I don’t know. Anyway, folks, uh it’s a case of let the buyer beware and please don’t listen to hype. Do your own research. Don’t listen to hype. There a big difference in a a girl who gets a new job teaching or doing something or working in a in an office or doing whatever she’s doing and she gets her little electric car and she finds she has all these problems and she has to pay for everything. and a per another girl or a man who gets a job with a huge company, some big big company and is driving at the company’s expense with benefit in kind on the tax. That’s that’s a different thing. It’s easy bragging it when you’re not when your hand is in someone else’s pocket. Watch for the person who has to pay themselves and our government has no no regard for them. If you got caught out and they broke you and leave you with a big mortgage, a big loan to pay and no car and you and you’re taking the bus, they wouldn’t care. Two Tuppony dams. Comment underneath. We’ll see you back. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. You can know.
Some developments unfolding.
