I Tried the TUTTIO Electric Dirt Bike! Assembly Tips and First Impressions

Okay, so that’s tour mode. Do I dare put it in sport? This thing’s awesome. I don’t even know what to say. Ow, no. Ow. I know what to say. Ow. Don’t ride it barefoot. This is my new Tudio Sole01. And today I’m going to be going over some tips and tricks for assembly. Tricks. tips and tricks for assembly and also first impressions. If you guys are looking for an ebike that’s not gonna break the bank and you can have a lot of fun with, look no further. Uh I’ll save the rest for the video. Um but with that being said, let’s get into it. So, let’s get into the unboxing and assembly. In the box, you’re going to have a lot of styrofoam. And peeking out at you is a tire. So, uh, let’s, uh, rip some of this styrofoam out. All right, now we’re getting somewhere. This is going to be your front wheel. Extra bits and pieces. This is going to be a front fender, rear fender, bar pad, instructions, very important. install this properly if you don’t get it assembled uh with Amazon’s assembly professional installation and uh shock covers, shock shield covers and some tools it seems. Open it here. Check that out. Little tool kit for you. [Applause] going to have a charger comes with it. After a long and strenuous journey of deleting a million things on my phone, finally going to be able to record this video. So, um, what I was saying, I think before was about all the fenders, the charger, uh, toolkit, and now we can finally get the, uh, bulk of the bike out of the box. So, we are going to attempt to do that now. Everything feels really quality on this bike. It just feels like it feels like an actual, you know, name brand bike. I’m really surprised. So, so the first step in the instructions is to put on the handlebars. And I struggled with that for way too long. So, here’s a tip. uh take the brake levers off before you try this because all they do is get tangled and wrapped around and and cause issues. Uh also I want to mention that one of the bolts was crossthreaded. Uh so you can’t have everything perfect and I was able to to get it tight and it worked out okay. But um that is one problem that I did notice while installing the handlebars. So, after technical difficulties and fumbling around with that for too long, we finally got that secured. And uh I’m happy. Now, we can get these the the brakes uh back on because like I said before, makes it way easier to have them off. So, we’ve got our right brake installed now. And I have slid this over the handlebars. And if you’ll come over here and check this out, you’ll be able to see. Well, let me flip it upside down like this so you guys can see. Oh, I can’t. Oh, well, a little bit. So, you can see there’s a little Allen bolt right there that once you get this secured in the position that you want it, you tighten up that Allen key and you are all set. So, I’m going to tighten that up and then we’ll be moving on to the front tire. Okay. So, now we’re installing the front fender. Uh, a lot of, um, studio owners, from what I’ve seen, uh, keep the front fender off because it looks a little dinky. Um, but thankfully there’s a lot of aftermarket options. So, um, I’m just going to install it because I’m going to install it mostly how it came. Might not install the rear fender. Not sure yet. So, we’ve gotten the bolt out, and what you’re going to want to do is have the uh longer spacer on the side with the brake and the shorter spacer on the uh side with the uh no brake. So, we’re going to slide this wheel in and uh try to get this done. Front tire was another piece of the puzzle that I struggled with way more than I should have. And part of that was the brake pads being uh pushed in a little bit. And they say that that you’re supposed to spread them out in the their assembly video, the actual studio channel. Um, but I didn’t realize that they had a tool uh for that. And it fell off and at the time I thought it was a brake pad and I kind of freaked out, but I realized it was to spread the the pads apart. But I ended up using a wrench and it kind of chewed on the brake pad a little bit. So quick tip, do not use that. There is a tool to spread the brake pads apart. And uh another extremely important piece of that puzzle is to open the brake bleeder. Uh it’s it’s the little uh it’s got a rubber cap over it and it’s on top of the the caliper. And without doing that, you will get nowhere pressing trying to press the brake pads uh out. Um I I I tried it and that’s where I chewed up the pad. Um until I opened that bleeder. It was just mauling the pad. So, uh, make sure when you do this, spread the brake pad apart by opening the bleeder and sticking in the tool and just wiggling them out a little bit so that the rotor goes in nicely and the wheel is not a real pain in the neck uh, more than it should have been. So, other than that, this was easy. Uh, like I said, long spacer goes uh, on the side with the brake and the short spacer goes on the other side and the bolt goes through and you screw the nut on, tighten it up, and you’re good to go. Uh, so yeah, that’s about it. It definitely helps to have a second person, but you can do it by yourself if you have cinder block or something to hold the bike up. But yeah, so front wheel installed. What the heck is this? Sorry, I don’t understand. Where did this come from? What is this? I thought it was a brake pad. I got warped. I was like, that’s not supposed to happen. So, I just finished putting on the shock covers. Now, we’re going to move on to uh taking this plastic off of the seat. Um, what you’re going to want to do is take this off and then the seat comes up and gives access to the battery. And check that out. Pretty sweet. So, get all this plastic off. And, uh, there’s the seat. It’s nice and comfy. So now with the seat off, we have access to the battery which comes off by unscrewing this. Squeeze these. Comes out like that. And by the way, this is your plug. So it’s not plugged in now, but once you do plug it in, you’ll plug it in and then lock it down with the tab there. We’re going to take this out. Super easy removal. And we’re going to put it on charge because who knows how long it was sitting at the factory. So, let’s put this on charge and uh finish the cosmetics. Satisfying. So, putting the battery in is super easy. Make sure you get the plug. And then you just slide it in like that. And uh bring the plug down here. Easier way to do it is probably when it’s out. Make sure you put it in the right way. locked in. Tighten this down and put your seat back on. Super easy, easy peasy. Screw this down here. And uh it’s going to be the first test of the studio. So key. And it says it’s at full battery. So check that out. And right now it’s in eco mode. You’ve got three different modes, eco, tour, and sport. We’ll keep it in eco mode for now just to let the battery get used to things. And uh I think it’s time to try it out. So, all right. So, like I said, we’re in eco mode. Just letting the battery get used to its new surroundings. And I’m barefoot, so So, that’s eco mode. Very sluggish. Let’s try it in tour mode. Wow. Okay, so that’s tour mode. Do I dare put it in sport? I guess. All right. By the way, that was 0.2 miles. This does have the odometer on it. So, uh, let’s test it out in sport mode. Come on. Full throttle. This thing’s awesome. Um, this thing’s awesome. I don’t even know what to say. Ow. No. Ow. I know what to say. Ow. Don’t ride it barefoot. Ow. Obviously, uh, you know what? Yeah. So, obviously, um it’s nice to have the three modes because if you’re a beginner, by by the way, I’m going to turn that off. If you’re a beginner, you can stick on the uh eco mode. Super beginner friendly. Um the tour mode for intermediate and the sport mode for a little more advanced and and and used to the uh power. And it does have a decent amount of power. For a little bike for 1,300 bucks, this thing is a blast. And uh the suspension is a lot better than I was expecting actually. So uh first impressions is incredible. Incredible. Awesome. And um I can’t wait to take this thing everywhere. Obviously super portable. It was inside the house. Literally just took it through the front door. And uh yeah, that’s first impressions on this. Love it. And if you guys are looking for a gift for Christmas, uh, birthday, this is it. It’s, in my opinion, probably one of the better ebikes you’re going to get for, uh, anyone that’s looking to, you know, not break the bank. So, with that being said, thanks for watching.
