Raptee.HV T30 | Fastest Charging Electric Bike | First Look and Walkaround

Hey guys, welcome back to the channel. My name is Whipple and we are with yet another electric vehicle and this time a motorcycle. Up till now we had only big players like ultraviolet who had made a motorcycle but this is a Rapi HV T30. So, Rapi is a electric motorcycle company and HV stands for high voltage and that is their USB and that is what sets them apart. This motorcycle is built on a 240 volt electric architecture as compared to a 50 or 70 volt that other electric motorcycles or scooters are made upon. So, this is actually car territory. So electric vehicles, cars, they work on 300, 400 volt electric architectures. This has a 240 volt electric architecture and that gives this motorcycle a very very big advantage as compared to its competition. I can’t say much because our opinions under embargo. But I can show you what this motorcycle is like, show you around the design and what are its unique features. So let’s get started. Now firstly take a look at the front of the motorcycle. You get this sporty looking headlamp cluster. It’s completely LED. You get these LED DRLs, upside down forks. You have this mud guard, disc brakes, Brembo. You get alloy wheels. You get twin channel ABS. Moving to the side, uh you have this body work. Uh these panels are plastic. And behind this hides a 5.4 4 kWh battery. And right here you will see a unique design with the swing arm as well and extends all the way to the rear wheel. You get disc brakes at the rear as well and Brembo disc brakes. Again, dual channel ABS, monoshock at the rear. And right here you have the foot pedals which do not stay in place, but they retract like so. for the pillion. They do stay in place once folded. Coming to the pillion, let’s talk about the pillion seat. This is the width and cushioning. You can gauge what the softness is like and I’ll be able to tell you how it feels in our opinion review. Right here you have the grab handles to hold onto tail lamp with a different kind of design and then you have this tail section along with the turn indicators again LED. There is a T30s variant as well which does not have this tail section for that motorcycle. The turn indicators are mounted on the muffler right here. And then coming to the rider seat, it’s long and it kind of sinks in. So when you sit on the motorcycle, you sink in a little bit. And then the most important part or the most unique feature of this motorcycle is this the charging port, which is a CCS2 charging port. And what this does is this. Let me put on a light and show it to you so that you can see it clearly. So yes, that is a CCS2 port and you see this on electric cars. So what this does is gives you an advantage over other electric two wheelers because you can tap into the car charging networks. You get the CCS2 charger on board. So you can connect it to any car charging station and you will be able to charge this motorcycle. And the charging speeds are impressive too. So you can do 20% to 80% in 36 minutes uh at 7 kW charging speeds. You do get a home charger along with the motorcycle and that you can carry along. If you don’t wish to carry it, you can use any car charger cable to charge this motorcycle. So, you don’t always have to carry your charger around. Now, let’s take a look at the handlebar and the display. Firstly, the handlebar. Here you have all your buttons. Here you have the function button. Then you have the ignition. And right here you have the hazard lights. And on this side you have the cruise control, the mode, parking button, the D-pad, the turn indicator, and the horn, which sounds like so. And the mirrors, they’re long. I’ll tell you what the view is like in our review video. And right here, you have a 7 in instrument console, which gives you a whole lot of readouts. Now when the motor is off, this is what you will see. Let me straighten the motorcycle for you. And this is all the information that you’re going to see. So good evening. This will display your name here when you own the motorcycle. Then it has the modes and then the uh range. You have the trip AA right here. Telltale lights here. You have the battery SOC here. You also get uh TPMS. So your front and rear tire pressure. Now motor is off. So it says motor off. And then you also have your connectivity buttons. Now this is touchscreen and as you saw it’s very responsive. Just a swipe of my finger and it responded to my touch. And just to demo how quick the response is. Check this out. And check this out. So yes, the touch response. You can gauge it by what I was doing. And if you’re interested in playing some games, you can do that as well. So, this is where you go. And then you can play this game right here using the D-pad. So, if you’re waiting for your wife, your girlfriend, your kids to pick them up from school, you want to pass some time, you can do this on your motorcycle. The point being here, check out the responsiveness of the D-pad. as I’m playing the game. So, that’s what I wanted to uh show you and demo. And we’ll just exit the game now. And when you put the motor on, the display changes. You get this theme right here. And on this, you will get the speed uh the region mode. So, region can be controlled with the D-pad. So, you can go from zero to one, two, and three. So you get three region modes. Here you’ll have the mode display. You have three modes, the comfort, power, and the sprint. We’ll talk more about the modes in the review video. And uh you want to also access maps, you can do that. So just swipe and then you get access into the maps. This is already input. So you can see how the map will be displayed. This is not Google maps. This is not map my India. This is Rapty’s own developed map system. And this is how it looks. Check out the touch responsiveness of the screen. Let us know what do you think of that. So overall that is what I can tell you about the motorcycle. I can tell you the price also. Price is 2 lakh 39,000x showroom inclusive of the charger and all the technology that you get with this motorcycle. Uh the range in every mode in the comfort mode you get about 150. In the power mode you get about 100 and in the sprint mode you’re going to get 75 uh kilometers of range. and top speeds 135 in sprint mode, 110 in the power mode, and about 65 in the comfort mode. How it performs, how it rides, you’re going to have to watch our review video for that. Colors, you have uh three colors in the T30 and you have three colors with the T30s. There’s no change in pricing, feature-wise, performance-wise, they’re both the same. The only thing that is different in the T30 and the T30S is the graphics and the tail section. Like I told you before, let us know what you think of the motorcycle. We’ll be doing a detailed review of it. We’re going to be riding it and we’re going to tell you what it feels to ride like. So, that video will come up after 12th of November. So, stay tuned to Moto Rides. Subscribe if you haven’t already. Press the bell icon so that you get notified whenever that video comes out. This is Whipple signing off. I will see you in the next one. Until then, drive hard, rev free and ride safe.
