I have 40 years working with Toyota. I started on one of the racing programs. So, it is so rewarding to be the first team that gets to bring an all-electric
Toyota race car to SEMA. When the car first got here,
one of the first things we did was we know we were putting a cage in it. We’ll be able to create a splitter off the front. The two-part foam allows us to
build the fender shape we want and then we can bring Cole in to scan it, which will then allow us to 3D
print an actual physical part. We’ve got a two element wing. We’re also doing an air splitter. The bottom of this car is super flat. With this BZ, our hope is to do really
impressive time attack races with, but also be able to repurpose it and
do some hill climb events with it also. Future of electric has potential
to be incredibly powerful.
