Honda Powers USA Bobsled/Skeleton Team
This is a very special facility. Every system is bespoke. Winds coming down hold that position. We thought, how can we do things we’ve never done before? One of the ideas was to do team USA bobsled. Team USA have done a remarkable job recruiting the best athletes in the world. A race can be won or lost by hundreds of a second. Having the support of Acura certainly gives us a lot of confidence going into the next Olympic Games. This project is a long commitment and it will challenge our engineers in ways they’ve never done before. We’re asking questions like what can we do to help you win? Racing is a core component of Honda’s DNA. And in that core, we always always challenge ourselves to win. That’s what we do. We have to win. [Music]
Through advanced technical collaboration at the Honda Automotive Labs of Ohio (HALO) wind tunnel, Honda engineers are utilizing their aerodynamic expertise to help the USA Bobsled/Skeleton team optimize their performance and speed for the World Cup season and Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026.
