2025 Toyota Sienna vs 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Comparison | Toyota
The 2025 Toyota Sienna versus the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica. Which van offers more for the
modern family? Let’s find out. With its standard hybrid powertrain, Sienna has higher
EPA-estimated MPG ratings than every Pacifica grade,
even the plug-in hybrid. The Woodland Edition has
standard all-wheel drive and additional ground clearance. Available features like a
12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a head-up display help Sienna bring more modern
conveniences than Pacifica. For 2025, the Toyota
Sienna offers six grades: LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland
Edition, Limited, and Platinum. Sienna has a standard hybrid powertrain, and offers available all-wheel drive. Pacifica only has four grades. And although it does have an available plug-in hybrid powertrain, all-wheel drive is
exclusive to gas grades. The 2025 Sienna brings good looks thanks to features like
available 20-inch alloy wheels. Sienna XSE impresses
with black sporty accents and a honeycomb grille, and the Woodland Edition has 18-inch six-spoke
dark-finished alloy wheels. Both minivans have standard
power sliding rear doors, and offer available hands-free operation on the higher grades. Finally, both Sienna and
Pacifica elevate convenience with an available
hands-free power liftgate. Inside Sienna, drivers will find standard three-zone
automatic climate control on the LE grade, or four-zone automatic climate control on the XLE grade and up. Pacifica also offers standard three-zone
automatic climate control, but there’s no four-zone option. Sienna keeps the focus on comfort with an available heated steering wheel, available heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, and available heated
second-row captain’s chairs with available ottomans and
super-long slide capability. Pacifica also has similar features, including standard Stow n’
Go second and third-row seats with Easy-Tilt on gas grades. Plug-in Hybrid grades
only have Stow n’ Go seats for the third row. Plus, Sienna has an available 12.3-inch
digital gauge cluster and an available head-up display, neither of which Pacifica
has an answer to. And where Sienna has a standard Qi-compatible
wireless charger on every grade, Pacifica only offers it on higher grades. Planning your next road trip? Sienna’s got you covered
with its available Vacuum and FridgeBox that offer
new levels of convenience. With the vehicle powered on, the built-in vacuum is designed
to make cleaning up easier, while the FridgeBox is designed
to keep treats chilled. Pacifica has an available
Stow ‘n Vac integrated vacuum, but no FridgeBox equivalent. Finally, Sienna’s available
1500-Watt AC power inverter expands the spectrum
of devices it can power relative to Pacifica’s 150-Watt inverter. The 2025 Sienna comes packed with tech, thanks to the Toyota
Audio Multimedia platform, which features a standard eight-inch or an available 12.3-inch touchscreen. On the other hand, Pacifica only has a 10.1-inch touchscreen. Sienna’s interface includes
standard wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay, which
connects drivers to the apps on their iPhone, including maps, messages, podcasts, and music subscriptions. In addition, wireless
Android Auto compatibility makes it easy to stay
connected to Android devices and access various apps
and services from Google including YouTube Music and Google Maps. Sienna comes standard with a
three-month SiriusXM trial, which includes over 165
channels available in-cabin, and even more on the SiriusXM app, making it easier than ever to
enjoy not just ad-free music, but also sports, comedy, and more. Pacifica also includes
wireless compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a standard
three-month SiriusXM trial. On select grades, Sienna comes with trials for Toyota’s line of Connected Services, including Safety Connect, Service Connect, Remote Connect, Wi-Fi
Connect, and Drive Connect. Pacifica includes standard
Chrysler Connect trials. Sienna has an available
JBL Premium Audio system, while Pacifica has an available Harman Kardon
Premium Audio system. Rounding out the tech, both vehicles have an available rear-seat
entertainment system for passengers in the back. Sienna elevates safety with
Toyota Safety Sense 2.0. This high-tech safety suite includes Pre-Collision System
with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Full-Speed Range Dynamic
Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist. Pacifica has a standard
active safety suite with similar features to TSS 2.0. Sienna also offers
standard Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, available Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking, and an available Panoramic View Monitor, which shows what’s around the vehicle. Pacifica offers similar features. With its standard hybrid powertrain, Sienna has up to an EPA-estimated 36 miles per gallon combined rating. All Pacifica grades fall
behind in fuel economy, with up to an EPA-estimated
22 miles per gallon combined on gas grades, or an EPA-estimated 30
miles per gallon combined on plug-in hybrid grades. Every grade is available with Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive. Pacifica only offers all-wheel
drive in its gas grades. In terms of power, Sienna’s
standard 2.5-liter hybrid system has 245 net combined horsepower. Pacifica’s gas grades are
powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 287 horsepower, while
its plug-in hybrid grades have 260 net combined horsepower. The XSE grade adds fun to every drive through a standard sport-tuned suspension, a feature that Pacifica doesn’t have. And the Woodland Edition
adds standard all-wheel drive and an additional 0.6
inches of ground clearance for a total of 6.96 inches, bringing added confidence on dirt roads, especially compared to
Pacifica’s 5.1 inches. Families who could use a bit of muscle will find it in Sienna, since it has a maximum towing
capacity of 3,500 pounds. Pacifica’s gas grades
have a max towing capacity of up to 3,600 pounds, but Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid
isn’t recommended to tow. Sienna brings strong value
since it comes with ToyotaCare, which includes two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance,
whichever comes first, and two years, unlimited mileage 24-hour roadside assistance. Pacifica includes five
years or 60,000 miles of roadside assistance,
whichever comes first, but does not come with
scheduled maintenance. Sienna and Pacifica have a three-year or 36,000-mile limited
warranty, whichever comes first, and a five-year or 60,000-mile
powertrain warranty, whichever comes first. And because Sienna is a hybrid, it includes a hybrid system warranty that covers select
components for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, and a 10-year or 150,000-mile
hybrid battery warranty, whichever comes first. Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid also includes a hybrid electrical components
warranty for eight years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Sienna brings family fun and practical usability
everywhere it goes. It’s crafted for comfort and modern style with features designed
for on-the-go families. And its standard hybrid powertrain makes it among the most efficient
minivans available today. Bottom line? This Sienna
navigates daily life with ease. Discover Sienna today at Toyota.com.
