But don’t worry, we are shorting this down list for this video as the best EV picks for this festive season. Looks the part, has good comfort, has good amount of features, and now it comes in various battery packs. So you have various price points to get access to the scooter. Having ridden the scooter over the past few years, I can guarantee that it is a reliable scooter. Something that is not the case with many EVs in the segment. With the ST variant, you get good performance and higher range. Yes, it comes at a premium price, but if you are willing to spend that extra money, you can get extra range as well. So, if you are looking for a proper family scooter, the TVs I cube is a good option. So, if you didn’t like the TVS I cube, the other best family scooter option is the Bajad Cheetuk. Baj’s vast dealership network. The price point of the Cheetah is more accessible and not to forget, it is a properly stylish scooter. Other USP of the Chetal is that it gets a full metal body. In fact, it is the only electric scooter in the Indian market to feature this. Apart from that, you have decent performance, decent range, comes in multiple variants. So, in terms of price point also, the Chet is more approachable. So, if you didn’t like the IQ, the Chet makes sense as a good family scooter. And now moving on to performance. If you want something fun and thrilling, there’s only one good option and which is the Aether 450X. In that also you have the Apex variant. I know it is expensive but if you are someone who likes performance, want some thrill on the electric scooter, the Apex makes good sense. Also, the Aether 450 series comes with a lot of technology. There are multiple packs to choose from. So, if you want something sporty, thrilling, and fun, the Aether 450X will be our choice. If you want a balance of sportiness and practicality, the Va VX2 is a good option. The USB of the electric scooter is simple removal battery. So if you can’t charge your electric scooter in your parking lot, don’t worry. You can remove the batteries, bring it to your home or your office and charge the battery. Apart from that, in terms of performance also, the VX2 is much better. The styling is also nice and comes with a lots of features. Also, you get BAS, which is battery as a subscription, which is a very unique feature on the Vira VX2. This brings down the upfront pricing of the scooter a lot. You can get this scooter for under 60,000 rupees which makes it very very competitive. You can take a plan based on your running and you have to pay the cost to hero. So BAS makes the pricing of the VAX2 even more interesting. So you get removable batteries plus Bass. So the Vita VX2 offers you a lot of different options. But if you want an electric motorcycle, the options are pretty limited. On the budget end, I think the Ola Roadster makes good sense. Having said that, we haven’t ridden that electric motorcycle, but in terms of the specification, in terms of the pricing, the Roadster looks interesting. However, if budget is not of any issue, my simple suggestion would be to go for the new ultraviolet X47 crossover. Now, unlike the F77 which is very single focused, the X47 has a duality. The riding posture is more upright. It gets long travel suspension. So the comfort aspect is also there and the performance is also there. So if you want something fun, something that you can tour on, not very far, but you can actually tour on the X47. Plus, it also gets radar technology. So I think it’s a win-win compared to the F77.
