5 most unreliable used Electric vehicles #automobile #ev #electricvehicle #usedcars #unreliable

These are the five most unreliable electric vehicles that you could buy used here in the UK right now. And I’m aware this isn’t an electric vehicle. In fact, this is a 5 liter GT Ford Mustang. So, couldn’t be further from these cars we’re talking about today. The car in fifth place, first of all, is the Vauxil Corsa electric. They started making this in 2019. They still make it now. Some very expensive warranty claims from what I could find online. Customer surveys of this car uh don’t exactly paint it in a glowing light either, but when compared to other small electric cars, this one comes out as one of the worst. Of course, there are still four electric cars worse than that vehicle. Uh starting with the car in fourth place, which is the MG ZS is next on the list. Obviously, the electric vehicle version of that car. um actually slightly cheaper to repair than the Vauxil Corser when it does go wrong, but according to what I can see from uh customer surveys and warranty claims, it has a lot more go wrong in the first place. So, in terms of a list of the most unreliable, it is more unreliable than the Corsera, but as I say, if it does go wrong, it might be slightly cheaper to repair. Uh the car in third place is second Vauxil of the list, the Vauxil Mocker uh electric, of course, made from 2020 uh until now. They still make that vehicle. Um a lot of issues. Uh 12vt battery, the uh EV battery pack, which is I would say fairly important. Uh infotainment system issues as well, and uh repair time seems to be quite long. So, if your vehicle does go wrong, and there’s a a high chance that it will, then it’s going to be off the road for a long time whilst they repair it. It is, of course, still beaten by two more electric vehicles. Uh, starting with the car in second place, which is the MG4 EV. Of course, they started making this in 2022. It is quite often at the top of unreliability lists. Um, scores really badly uh in terms of warranty claims. Owners of the car report interior trim issues and non motor related electronic problems. Um, make of that what you will. That could be pretty much anything electronic in the car. Infotainment seems to be a thing uh mentioned a few times, so it could well be that. It is beaten, however, by one car, the car in first place, of course, which is the Tesla Model S, which surprised me. I mean, Tesla, that’s what they do. Electric vehicles is what they do. They’ve made the Tesla Model S since 2014. And of course, you can only buy it used here in the UK. Lots of issues. It comes top, if you can call it top, in a lot of categories for suspension, infotainment, non-motor related electronics, uh, trim issues. So, potentially, I would say one to avoid. And as I say, that’s something that surprised me when I did the research for this list initially. But there we have it. They are the five most unreliable used EVs that you could buy here in the UK. Tomorrow we will do the five most reliable.
