plug-in hybrid SUV from Geely, has officially launched in China. It delivers
1,381 hp, features dual-chamber air suspension, and offers up to 1,250 km of combined range.
Prices start at 455,900 yuan, approximately 63,910 USD. During presales, the model
received 42,667 orders within the first hour. Geely introduced Zeekr in 2021 as a premium
EV brand, but this year the company shifted its focus to plug-in hybrids. The 9X is its first
PHEV model and serves as the flagship crossover. The Zeekr 9X is a full-size SUV measuring 5,239
mm long, 2,029 mm wide, and 1,819 mm high, with a 3,169 mm wheelbase. Compared to
the Mercedes-Benz GLS, it’s 32 mm longer, 75 mm wider, and 4 mm lower. The exterior features
large C-shaped LED headlights, a prominent grille with an active air intake, traditional door
handles, and a circular taillight design. Buyers can choose from five body
colors—black, white, silver, gray, and purple—paired with 22-inch wheels in various
styles. The SUV comes with up to five LiDAR sensors and a dual-chamber air suspension
with dual-valve continuous damping control. Ground clearance can be adjusted from 178 mm to
288 mm, depending on the suspension mode. The headlights can even project images onto the road
to communicate with other drivers and pedestrians. The Zeekr 9X also offers advanced features like
a 48V active stabilizer bar that reduces body roll in corners and can lift one side of
the vehicle during a potential collision for added safety. Other highlights
include the ability to safely cross open wells and maintain stability at
120 km/h even after a tire puncture. The Zeekr 9X comes with a six-seat 2+2+2
layout and offers three interior color schemes: deep blue, beige, and brown. The centerpiece
of the cabin is a dual 16-inch display setup on the dashboard, though buyers can opt for
a single 16-inch screen with a 5,000 yuan approximately 700 USD discount. Additional
tech highlights include a massive 47-inch augmented reality head-up display and a 17-inch
3K ceiling-mounted screen for rear passengers, featuring a 3 ms response time and
five adjustable viewing angles. Depending on the trim, luxury touches include a
folding table for the second-row right passenger, four-way lumbar support with a 22-point massage
function for both front and second-row seats, and individual privacy sunshades
for all side windows. The second-row seats can even rotate 180 degrees, similar
to Geely’s Lynk & Co 900. Other premium features include power-operated doors
and an AI voice assistant named Eva. On the technology side, the entry-level
Zeekr 9X is equipped with the G-Pilot H7 driver-assistance system, using a single
LiDAR sensor and an Nvidia Thor-U chip delivering 700 TOPS. The range-topping
version steps up to five LiDAR sensors, including a 520-line unit and dual Nvidia Thor-U
SoCs for 1,400 TOPS. This setup, which Zeekr describes as “L3-ready,” supports point-to-point
Navigate on Autopilot, self-parking, and an Automatic Emergency Steering function capable of
avoiding collisions at speeds of up to 130 km/h. The entry-level Zeekr 9X pairs a 2.0-liter
gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering 660 kW or 885 hp. The 9X Max
variant is equipped with a 55 kWh battery, providing up to 300 km of electric
range (CLTC) and a total hybrid range of 1,200 km. It accelerates
from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. A second powertrain option uses the same ICE and
dual-motor setup but with a larger 70 kWh battery, extending the electric-only range
to 380 km and the combined range to 1,250 km. At the top of the lineup, the
flagship trim adds a third electric motor, boosting output to 1,030 kW or 1,381 hp. This
version offers 355 km of pure electric driving, a total range of 1,165 km, and sprints
from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. All versions support 6C fast charging on a
900V system, allowing the battery to charge from 20% to 80% in only 8 minutes and 21 seconds.
Additionally, the onboard ICE can recharge the battery from 30% to 80% in about 90 minutes,
even while cruising at 120 km/h on highways. The Zeekr 9X is offered in four trim levels. The
entry-level Max comes with the G-Pilot H7 system, a 4WD setup, and delivers 660 kW or
885 hp. It is priced at 465,900 yuan, approximately 65,310 USD. The second trim,
Ultra, adds more comfort with upgraded second-row seats and individual privacy sunshades, priced
at 485,900 yuan, approximately 68,110 USD. Moving up, the Hyper trim includes a 48V
active stabilizer bar, active side support for the driver’s seat, second-row seats that
can rotate, and the advanced G-Pilot H9 ADAS. This version costs 559,900 yuan, approximately
78,490 USD. At the top of the range, the flagship Obsidian Black edition is priced
at 599,900 yuan, approximately 84,100 USD. Thanks for watching! If you enjoyed this video,
