2025 IMSA Indianapolis Motor Speedway | Mustang GT3 | Ford Racing

[Music] [Applause] [Music] What makes this track so so special is, you know, the just running down the front straight, the massive grand stand on one side, the pigod on the other, and it’s just really like a valley down through the front straight. Such a cool place and to be able to run GT4 with four, and uh to be running with a guy that, you know, we had such a good battle at Lal. Both of us wanted to go toe-to-toe again and it’s different now that we’re in the same car going for the for the same trophy. So first place is, you know, the main goal, you know, especially for Cam, you know, coming a whole way from Australia. Top five podium would, you know, we’d be happy with it, but a win is the ultimate goal. [Music] [Applause] through for the lead. The 44 goes through. It’s one lap too many for the Mustang. Gave it everything I had and just didn’t quite have the tire at the end to uh stay in front of them. P1 would have been would have been great, but you know, I can’t be I can’t be not happy with P3 after starting P8. I think FP1 looked quite strong for us. So, it worked out apparently. So, car felt good. Uh we’re trying to improve it now for F2 again and then for Poly tomorrow, but I think we’re in a good spot. Yeah, I mean we we definitely give it all. All right. There’s nothing to hold back for us since we are here. I’m every race we are pushing. We had I would say two setbacks or three where we you know we didn’t have great weekends, but the rest I think we executed pretty pretty good and got the maximum we could. And that’s what we try for the last two rounds. Hopefully some others will struggle and uh we make up some points. Are you keys to this one to be staying clean? This race is pretty chaotic. What has arrived? There’s a lot of runoff at this track in the infield and so, you know, a lot of people think they can get a little crazier and just run wide and so it just creates a bit of a more chaotic race. [Music] Mustang back in victory lane. Mike Rockefeller Seo celebrate at the Brickyard. To battle out there, especially here in Indianapolis, is something unique and to win it here on the brakes uh is is definitely something which makes me proud. Just want to thank Multimmatic, you know, and Ford, what a what a job today. And um you know, they gave us great car. Mike drove absolutely amazing to win on the bricks. What a famous place this is. Uh for me uh one of my best races in my career. Um and I’m going to remember this day for the rest of my life for sure. [Music]

After a podium finish on debut of the #60 Mustang GT4 driven by Robert Noaker and Cam McLeod, the No. 64 Ford Multimatic Motorsports Ford Mustang GT3, driven by Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx, crossed the Indianapolis Motor Speedway bricks as the class winner of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Battle On The Bricks. The victory marks the second for the No. 64 and the third for the team.
